I can remember finding out on the school bus that we'd sold him to Spurs, was absolutely devastated, he was definitely my favourite player from that team

This is about my first full recollection of a team as well. Sitting on wooden benches in what would be now block 121 or where Platt Lane met the Main stand. My old fella used to get 4 pints at the start and 4 pints at half time. Drinking watching the match...how times have changed.

Posh sod in the Platt Lane End, we had to dodge the opposing fans darts in the Kippax, good fun throwing them back though!! :-)
