Missed the 1st half. How did the new guys do? Did Savic play centre or right back? And most importantly: Is this Vuoso bloke any good?!

He played centre back and did fine. Clichy's energy, as ever, was fantastic. Connected with a cross too! ha.

I don't know if Taylor has made one clean catch all night.

Guidetti hits the post in stoppage time. Full time, 2-0 to City.

I know why Yaya's shirt was one of the first I saw swapped, and I'll bet all 11 Club America players wanted it, but if I were them I'd be after the Mancini one, it'll be a rare find.

Solid win, Shauny looked good, Barry, Milner and Clichy all hit the ground running, but Meekah Reechards was the standout.

Couldn't believe it when I saw Mancini jr had made the USA trip. He was shite for the reserves last year, and that was a decent demonstration of his ability in the second half, not very good!

The thing that impressed me the most was just how sharp all the players looked. Yeah some looked a tad out of form, but their general fitness and energy levels were very impressive. Looks like they were in the middle of the season post international break or sumat. They look really motivated too and fired up. A very encouraging friendly.

only saw the last 30 mins but didn't see him do one decent thing. I don't get how Assulin stayed behind and he went..... never seen Assulin but he was at Barcelona....which is somewhere Mancini will never be, unless Mancini Snr is manager!

The energy stood out to me too. They played fast and loose and, while sloppy at times, indicated a willingness to open it up a little bit.*

*At least in the preseason.

Watched it live here! with NO commentators

It was good to see some of the young bloods today - Weiss and McGivern were brilliant.........I was impressed with Clichy and can see that if Savic is tested he will probably do well for us.
Either Lescott has been working out or his shirt was too small - not impressed with Vinnie today, he didn't seem to know where he was most of the half - Taylor made a couple of great saves and on the whole, it was a good game and I'm looking forward to seeing them on Monday in Vancouver.........where we'll show them what a real posnan is like, lol.
The thing about City is they possess the most loyal fans in the world. They laugh and sing and joke and carry inflatable bananas when things are going badly and they do exactly the same when things are going well.

I thought Weiss was trying to do too much with the ball, he is tricky as hell but needs to know when to play a simple pass and when to try it on. Needs Silva to teach him the art.

Absolutely gutted to find out there were rivers for this. Gutted.

Can anyone give good match report. Happy to hear Shaunie having a good game as I've always said that we def still have room for him.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

i watched the first 60 minutes pretty closely and the rest of the match here and there as my 10 year old's hamster died, and i had to bury it.

Dzeko looked a bit weak that the outset but then did some fantastic hold up play work to basically "create" both of the goals we scored. SWP was running his nuts off as was Weiss, but honestly, Shauny had the best of it as he just managed to get behind defenders enough and make a nuisance of himself whereas Weiss seemed to have an issue or two that prevented him from making the same impact. That said, from what i saw, if Weiss keeps it up the rest of this tour he should get a place in our 25 man roster...

Micah was on in the 2nd half and really showed why we never should have given up on him.

Taylor made some reasonably good saves in the 2nd half...tho some might have been bothered that he even had to "save" them.

all in all a professional showing...with a second half that may have been more entertaining without a 10 year old daughter with a dead hamster, but all in all..if the second half was a dead hamster then the first half was a hungry osprey looking for food. :)

cheers

Cheerio Mike!

I had a guinea pig when I was kid. After few years my dad told me it moved to live with distant relatives I've never seen in countryside and there was lot of other guinea pigs and he'd have great life. I wonder how he is doing these days. Also would like to learn more about these distant relatives as oddly enough I didn't know we had any relatives in countryside.
