Pubs in Sheldon Park

To the reidents of Dublin are there any family friendly pubs in the Sheldon Park area,we are staying in Sheldon Park but will fancy a few "scoops" away from the hotel,likewise are there places to avoid?all info gratefully accepted.

sheldon park? you got an address for that mate? to be honest never heard of it, but there are some smallish hotels out that way that im not familiar with.....
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,

Ignore me mate i know exactly which hotel it is!

Do you mind me asking why you chose that place? the short answer to your question is no, its one of the roughest parts of dublin and no where near the stadium, will require two buses or a taxi of about 40e i reckon. Id personally go into city centre than have a drink anywhere near there(sorry for putting a downer on it pal)....

Mate if you can, try cancel that hotel unless your staying there cos its near to family etc, if you can cancel book this:

Its right beside ground and on the "aircoach" route which means you can jump the aircoach(bus) from airport and leave you right outside. Lots of friendly pubs around and not too far from the city. Its decently priced at the moment and ive stayed there a few times is quite nice.
