Besides, with Dzeko, Balotelli and possibly Aguero up front, we have enough firepower. Yes, I am placing my faith in those two (three) players. I know Dzeko and Balotelli have great talent and feel confident they will be able to produce for the club.

I am really not sure about the whole Corinthians bid. I hope the board will ask for the money up front, and not pay by instalments. For me, this tranzaction is like buying a product from a guy, in dark alley.

I'm only a tiny bit worried that Aguero will want the same level of treatment on and off the pitch. I;m pretty sure Mancini will beat out any sign on individuality very early on.

Tevez was a Hughes signing, and he clearly didnt get on well enough with Mancini.

We had a year/6 months when Robinho and Tevez were both in the same team for us? Jesus how the fuck did that not work out!

I think Tevez leaving is better for the squad, better for Mario and Edin, better for morale and no proper talisman (good from a TEAM point of view, bad for marketing). We won the FA cup despite Tevez's problems and injuries.

I'm waiting for a Daily Mail picture of a tattoo on some City fans back with Aguero winner champions league final 2012.

It's quite fitting he's going to Brazil, since he and they can't take fucling penalties.

naturally, I'm feeling a bit gutted - but I have a very optimistic feeling about aguero and mario

While I agree in principle, I don't on some levels. If we haven't got a single "goalscorer" as such, he can't be marked out of the game. If we can spread goals around and have goal threats from all sides, we can be just as dangerous as we are now, maybe even more so.

I have got to think optimistically cos losing a 50 goals in two seasons man is a serious blow.

It's a shame that he's going but we're a different club to when he joined. We don't appear to have much difficulty signing big name players so we can continue to go onwards and upwards without him. I'd like for him to be with us and share in the glory, but that's his choice. He's a great footballer whose personal issues and constant inveigling for contracts/moves will probably tarnish his long term reputation, i.e. I doubt he'll be remembered as one of the greats.

Has he actually put in a transfer request or is the one from December still on the table?

I think no official transfer request has been put in since his last one. Kia has just been using the media to make sure everyone knows he wants to leave.

Does that mean that if we sell him without a transfer request we have to give him compo? I dont think we're that stupid, which makes todays story a bit suspect.

Surely the statement he made saying he wanted to leave would waive any sort of loyalty bonus?

Not sure it really matters whether he gets a payment or not.

City have found a deal they are happy with so I'm happy.

Aguero will replace tevez. He is young and will be a fresh canvas for mancini. But it will take him time to adjust to the prem and a new team. Its during that time we will miss tevez and lose a few points he might of got us. It's the adjustment period that worries me.

Exactly so.

If we make a slow start because of that, we'll be playing catch up, which is pressure in itself and if it takes Aguero most of the season to find his feet, there's a massive onus on Dzeko and SuperMario to step up and fill the breech. Would they be able to do it ??

A worrying time all round.

Heard a funny quote today.

There's no I in team, but there is a U in cunt.

Thought it definitely applies to tevez.
