Daniele De Rossi denies to renew his job with Giallorossi. Sky Italia and this Italian sport media today tell there's Manchester City behind him with a stunning offer to the Roma midfielder! Capitan Futuro as a Citizen? It would be incredible for me but ...
From Torino, Italia to Manchester, Lancashire this City is always our City!

Football Corner can this evening confirm that Samir Nasri has agreed a deal to join Manchester City.
Nasri, 24, has been strongly linked with away from move Arsenal in recent weeks.
However, Arsene Wenger has continued to deny speculation that the French international would be leaving the Emirates, but it after all his claims, it would appear Wenger has lost one of his most prized assets.
City boss Roberto Mancini confirmed earlier this month that he was keen to bring Nasri to the Etihad Stadium and with the player’s contract at Arsenal due to expire in 12 months, it seems officials at Eastlands have finally convinced Arsenal to sell.
The fee is believed to be £21 million and Nasri will be unveileved as a City

Not that we've signed him mate. I'd be delighted. But 21 nicker seems a lot for a guy in the last year of his contract!

At the end of the day mate they know its us and if we want a player we have to pay. I to would welcome him but 21 million yes a bit steep.

Ashley Young was in the last year of his contract which is why the rags only paid £16m for him. I think Downing had 2 years left on his contract and so he went for £20m (about £10m too much but that's the premium you pay for English players)

Surely no chance of us loaning Ade to Spuds, that would be really stupid.

Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has revealed an interest in signing Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor.

The 27-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan with Real Madrid after falling out of favour with City boss Roberto Mancini.

Adebayor is expected to be a peripheral figure if he remains at the Etihad Stadium and looks set for a move away this summer.

The former Arsenal man has talked up a return to the Bernabeu, but has also been linked with a move back to north London and Tottenham.

Redknapp is keen to bring in new blood and has admitted the Togo forward is on his radar.

"He is a name that was mentioned and I spoke to the chairman about the player, about the possibility of loaning him, but whether they would loan him I don't know," said Redknapp. "If they would loan him he would be of interest. He is a quality player. We will wait and see."

Well that's what made me think it was a dead cert. But I didn't see that Tomlie fella mention it on BlueMoon so until he puts a video up of Jacqueline Boyer singing Tom Pillibi I refuse to believe it!

Malaga target Manchester City striker Roque Santa Cruz
by Rob MacDonald. Published Wed 20 Jul 2011 17:30, Last updated: 2011-07-20

Malaga are reportedly interested in Manchester City striker Roque Santa Cruz.
The People claims the Spanish club are eyeing the Paraguay international who is surplus to requirements at City.
The Spaniards have cash to spend this summer after recent investment from the Middle East.
City will let Santa Cruz leave for a fraction of the £17.5 million former boss Mark Hughes paid Rovers for him in 2009.
The striker spent part of last season on loan at former club Blackburn Rovers.

This former Blackburn chairman is really earning his wages if it's true. First we got rid of Jo and now possibly RSC. Also, Boateng deal was sorted. Next we need to ditch Bridge and the wage bill looks much better all of the sudden.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

An offer that is lower than what they offered last season.

So it's ok for arsenal to do this sort of thing, but nobody else?
