Looked good again last night which is hardly a surprise as they gave us way too much space in the first half.
but nonetheless, it was good to see him shooting last night! he had 3 good shots in that one half which pretty much equals his total for 3 matches usually. hope it was a sign that we will see more shots from him this season.

Also, I cannot emphasise his importance to the team enough. Imo it is very important that we sign another playmaker. Without him at the moment there is nobody to pull the strings for the team. Absolutely vital player for us at the moment and if he gets injured we're fucled. That's also basically the reason why I'm desperate that the Nasri deal would happen.

I'm in the middle of the Fjords so I've only seen snippets until last night when I saw the whole game on my phone as the alcohol & fish-powered PC packed in.

Imo, with Clichy, we are better than last season but without Silva, we had nothing else in attack & struggle to create, just like last year. It's not just a midfield thing it's the whole attacking unit.

Tevez was the saviour in those circumastances last season but obviously he may be gone. Balotelli is clearly a threat but he's probably going to keep fucking up, at least in the short term. Dzeko is a fucking wuss who needs to either shout for the ball or fuck off home. His lack of involvement last night was pathetic.

AJ, SWP don't look top class. Imo we need attacking players who actually do something & make things happen rather than watching others. SWP did it v the paperboys 11 but he looked more like his old self v Galaxy. AJ had one decent onetwo & that was it. Weiss is promising because he's suddenly started to use his brain but he could turn to shit just as quickly.

Guidetti showed what any kind of livewire striker could do in this team. If Tevez stays then with Aguero we are ok for strikers but if he goes, imo we need a backup for Silva AND another attacking player. If we can't tie up Nasri, get someone else.

He looked so good that unfortunately it just fuelled my concerns about our back up to him (or lack of it) we absolutely ran the game until he went off - then we were a very average looking team unable to keep possession and create against a poor team

Know its only a friendly etc - but this was a big issue in PL games last year
