Clubs Threaten Fifa Revolt

Postby LookMumImOnMCF.net » Wed Jul 27, 2011 7:57 am

I see Mr KHR is in the papers again, this time having a go at Fifa

http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011 ... ifa-revolt

Is it me or do all these types of threats contain more words than actions? I've yet to see one meaningful blow struck against them.

Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

I agree with him. And lets make it UEFA next. I even found myself agreeing with Darren Gough yesterday when he said 'who the 'ell are UEFA to tell Manchester City and Chelsea how to spend their money?' He reckons FFP will crash and burn because no-one will take any notice, or clubs will go to court for restraint of trade.

Great topic, however we are now on our own mission to win and not just get bye, nobody gives a toss sadly, Scrapping Fifa, starting again would be the only solution. KHR is right, however he is looking at us with oh shit eyes, Clubs new to the big table like us, could be very important as we are not tainted by the years of back scratching, this will not happen as we now face the media/ clubs/petty minded "Money is ruining the game party", this is code for we are skint, all our revenues have been going to agents and players, for 20 years, lets stop the new club, bring in new rules, do something, anything. 30 miles from us Everton are a club surviving on Sky money and selling a player here and there, Everton are proof football is bankrupt pf money and in day by day mode in the main. Amazing mangement to do what they do without a penny, how long that will last ? Birmingham and Everton are two clubs that could just go UNDER IMHO.

Whilst I detest all things FIFA and UeFA in terms of the leadership etc - I would be much more concerned about KHR getting momentum - he is all about protecting the old G14 and would look at a breakaway league

This is all against CITY until we have become firmly established - that will take years - so hope all stays status quo for a while - I would rather deal with FFPR than face seeking to get inclusion into a protected closed shop

Me three, if I were of African descent I would be pretty pissed off right now. I think a ban is in order, or at least a round of pints for us all.

Put it this way, I got a person with African descent in my close family. So buy your own pint and to cool your moral outrage and find sense of humour.

Oh so then I have Jews and Asians in my family I can offend those Jews and Asians on the board? Now if you were of African descent yourself, different story, so yeah I will stick to my moral high ground, especially considering it is a RULE of being a member of this community.

And yeah I will pass on a pint from a racists..

Sounds like KHR has finally gotten around to reading about the FFP rules, someone must have pointed out he didn't know what he was talking about when he made his comments about us recently.

Edit: ooooh FIFA, for some reason I read it as UEFA
VIVA EL CITIES

"The adjudicatory chamber of the Ethics Committee ... has banned Mr Joseph S. Blatter ... for eight years and Mr Michel Platini ... for eight years from all football-related activities (administrative, sports or any other) on a national and international level. The bans come into force immediately." - 21/12/2015

I thought they were taking the piss already.

btw I wouldn't use the I have *insert minority* in my friends/family defense unless it's a half sibling/step-parent or you yourself/your partner are a member of that minority. You're just digging deeper.
