On a slightly somber note, any worried that we're apparently signing him on for mega wages? i thought i heard he was taking a pay cut to come here and didnt care about money.... ~250,000 pounds/week, thats a hefty chuck of wages to pay. sure, he's an amazing player and deserves high wages but with FFP i'm just bit worried..especially with Ade and Bridge on the books still.

It will all fit into the FFP structure don't worry.

What phase of FFP are we actually in now? Can they front load the contract NHL style, as was rumoured for Milner and others (i.e. £40million now, and £3 million a year thereafter)?
