Our proposal includes a new 7,000 capacity mini-stadium, which will host youth football matches to give our young players vital experience of playing in a competitive environment in front of a big crowd, as well as serving as a facility to house important community matches and live events that would benefit from a stadium environment.

Ha ha, that would be considered a modern marvel in the Swedish league.
The size of the crowd looks like a Auto Windscreens game at Maine Road in the 98-99 Season!!

Well we are getting a new stadium then, it's just the size of it that's crossed wires!

However I dipped into various conversations in the past year about our future stadium expansion. It is obvious they are holding back until a groundswell of demand is built up, which may take 5 years or more. But it will happen, and it will be bigger and better than the Swamp.

The Clayton Aniline site is the one outlined on the academy website that I linked and posted so it really is highly unlikely we are building a new first team stadium there. I also seriously doubt that the council would knock back planning permission for extending the current stadium either, they will let the club pay for the expansion and just renegotiate (again) the amount of money they get from us.

I'd say your source needs to ketchup ;-)
