Arsenal get Udinese

I know our UEFA coefficient would mean we would have been in a different pot but interesting to see that Arsenal got a relatively easy draw in the Champs League.

They have an interesting run though Liverpool then Udinese then Manure!

And Zapata as well. Made CL then sold all the players that got them there.

They could easily buy a few players in time for the game though.

They banked a shed load of money from sales this summer, mostly profit too!

The hardest draw for Arsenal imo.

What about poor Spurs then, first leg away to Hearts.

If the Arse dont get through these qualies, would that affect the amount of Chumps league places we have next season?

I wouldn't have thought it would affect us as we will win the prem for the next ten years anyway so will automatically qualify :)

Plus if LeArse go out the they will definitely sell us Nasri to make their money up

It's going to be hard for us (Udinese), but If I could have chosen our opposition I'd have taken the Arse before either Bayern, Lyon or Villareal because I feel we can do well against them.
You guys are correct that we've lost three key players (Sanchez, Inler, Zapata) but from what I've seen this summer the only real problem that we have is replacing Sanchez because in defense I'm pretty happy with Danilo (from Palmeiras) taking Zapata's place and in midfield we have bought Surraco that plays wide on the right hence freeing Isla to play in his natural role in CM and shepherd Doubai until he adapts to the team's game.
As for forward we've bought Italy U-21 striker/winger Fabbrini and I've good hopes (but probably not for this year) for Colombia U20's gem Luis Muriel who has already scored 3 or 4 goals in the U20 World Cup. Problem is that for now Guidolin has tried to play a 3-5-1-1 with Abdi behind Di Natale, but the Swiss is more a CM like Inler than an attacking central midfielder a-là Sneijder.

All in all it should be fun to watch and hopefully we can squeeze through the Group stages
