sneijder is great player - probably not true as you suggest.

talent of sneijder aside, would love it to happen just to rile the rags and fergie - can you imagine his reaction if it happened?

Sneijder is the finished product, Nasri is still developing. But I think Nasri would be a better signing in the long run.

Traduction from this morning article in L'Equipe about Nasri on his way to City. From insiders of L'Equipe (best source about French football). Again sorry for my broken english.

Exclusive News by L'Equipe. Arsenal and his manager Arsène Wenger would be less against the fact of retain Samir Nasri in all the way, a target of Manchester City. After saying 11 July that the french midfielder (24, under contract until 2012) would stay in London, Gunners' manager would not be against departure. From our informations, many elements have made him change his position, the main one being a lower investment from the ex-Marseillais, that performance in friendly against Boca Juniors, 30 July, didn't convince (2-2).

Nasri already have a principe agreement with Citizens who are ready to give 22 millions euros to Arsenal. Before giving his green light, Wenger might wait negociation with Valencia about Juan Manuel Mata, attacking midfielder 23, potential substitution of the frenchman.

...

«Nasri, the door is opening», to read in L'Equipe, friday.

Enjoy !

I really want this lad to sign for us. When we were first linked with him I was more keen on Sneijder but the idea of Nasri and Spanish Dave feeding Aguero has grown on me.

Can't see the Arse selling both Nasri and Fabregas - unless something unforeseen forces their hand.

It's possible that they have decided to hold on to Fabregas though.

I can't see them selling both either...... and if they did, there'd be something massive going on behind the scenes in Emirates.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Never mind that, I just looked for it & found that Natalie Pike has twatted that she is going to be a matchday presenter. This has potential for genuine entertainment for blokes, at last.

I too have seen the same rumour.... no one else seems to know anything though :-/

BUT, I did speak to a friend of mine who works at the club, and in her words, from what she's either been told or heard, the deal will happen very quickly, a lot like the Barry one from the other year where it literally came out of the blue!!!

A bloke I work with today, for some reason was adamant that the transfer would go through TODAY.... I have no idea why he thinks that, or where his info (If he even has any) has come from.

Guess we'll just have to watch this space eh?

Wouldn't it be nice to get Nasri and have him in the squad for Sunday.

Just saying.
