This could be a message to Arsenal to quit fucking about over Nasri.

You may be correct but the City denial appears to be in response to an article in Fridays Gazetta Dello Sport.

I would imagine that they'd both deny it either way though, as it would be bad PR for their game in China & also, it's unlikely he could have signed anything whilst over there, so even if there is a deal, it could still go pear shaped until he puts a signature on it.

Yes that's possible. If there really was no interest from us though and we felt that it was just the player or his agents trying to make something happen elsewhere then City would be better off coming out with a flat denial; we don't want players using us to push their value up.
If something was happening then I believe the club would have stayed quiet altogether. Misinformation is one thing - outright lies do not make us look good.
I think we learned a lot from the Kaka fiasco.

He just scores with a fantastic free kick in the Bejing derby! For me it looks really like Weslej is a player who's at the end of an experience in his carrier!
From Torino, Italia to Manchester, Lancashire this City is always our City!

This is either in code or something is going on that I have no idea about.

And the real Boateng makes it 2-1. Abate's really impressed at right back for Milan.

Ibrahimovich reminds me of a Gary Neville looking Andy Carroll.

This is genuine - no BS
On my last day on hols in Sardinia - at the pool bar , bloke walks in in city polo shirt - said hello - he speaks in Italian. Wife tells me he is close friend of Mancini - he tells me straight off in pidgeon English that Sneijder is coming. Maybe lost in translation but he seemed very insistent. I asked him where Tevez going - he said something that sounded like Palma- did he mean Malaga????

Just watched the supercup and the commentators were very convinced he is off to City. Their last remark was epic, after Sneijder tried to score from 40 m, they said: "we know that he can't wait the match to end and fly to England, but shooting from that distance?!?". Lol
