Does that sound familiar?

Think we tried to sign him on loan when he was still a wee nipper at Marseille.

Interesting bit about Nasri from this http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/foot ... 36087.html please let it be true.

The Independent understands that manager Wenger was powerless to hold on to Nasri after a board meeting eight days ago at which principal shareholder Stan Kroenke insisted that it would be folly to sacrifice City's money and see the Frenchman leave as a free agent next summer. Wenger did not put up a fight and City hope to announce the signing of the player imminently.

City must lodge the transfer documents with the Premier League by midday today if they are to field the 24-year-old against the newly promoted Welsh side.

Though sources suggested City and Arsenal were a distance apart on one element of negotiations last night, Arsenal had already prepared the announcement of the player's departure by yesterday afternoon. Confirmation is expected today of Nasri's five-year City deal, under which he will earn around £165,000 a week – almost double the £90,000-a-week new deal he was offered to stay in north London.

When you change the supposed question "which players would you like to sign" into "which players are your favourites in Serie A these days" it brings whole different flavour to the answer don't you think?
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

But if people don't get to see the question and just see that he's talking about 5 or 6 different players all from Serie A then rightly or wrongly that's how people will come to the conclusion that Mancini only looks at Italy. That was my original point.

Just a reminder that Wenger's got his early Press Conference at 9.

Are we going to see a grown man cry?

I think the biggest coup that Wenger could've had was persuading Nasri to stay and take over from Fabregas, at least he could've kept face that way. Imagine what Arsenal fans are thinking at this moment, they might be coming out with the usual shit when they think players are moving on, but to be truthful they must be thinking that their club is being ripped apart.

Fabregas going is a blow, both of them going could cripple them.

"Wenger: "I expect nobody to leave the club. At the moment there is no news. What we want today is to focus on the players who can help."

What you trying to say?
