I`m with the OP on Edin, the loft into the area for the third was pure class, and while I think he got some unfair stick last season this year will be very different with a player along side him.

Give your head a long wobble.

Why? Today was his best performance for us but his first touch still needs improving. Still on a few occasions the ball bounces back off him. He's not a lone striker, he looks far better with someone alongside him.

Yep, he's come on in leaps and bounds but he could have scored late on in the first half but for his poor first touch
(which, to be fair, has improved considerably from what it had been, last season)

He has scored more goals than Torres and same as Andy Carroll and I'm sure both sets of fans for those teams will give them longer than you have given your own player.

Actually, of course they will, because you had your mind made up straight after he moved and now it stinks of you defending an opinion that, game by game, is looking more and more silly.

yea man that is all i saying he scores in 3 games 3 goals and he is runing and fight so its not his foult thet he got so much money but ac milan real madrid manchester utd and few other big clubs want him his yung and i m against for that much money in football but he is playing good now so i think now its the time to bust confidence not to complain....

Shock that a foreigner took 8 months to get settled.

Was at work when the match was on and couple of guys were watching it on their laptops - one - a Chelsea fan - was very vocal about how "shit" dzeko is and "hadn't even scored that much in Germany" before we bought him....
After showing the wanker this off google
"He was top scorer of the Bundesliga in the 2009–10 season with 22 goals scored.
On 28 August 2010, Džeko became the top league scorer in the club's history with 59 goals in 96 appearances "

D then scored!

shut him up real quick... he fucked off to lunch...
I wish there was a way to know you are in the good old days....before you've actually left them...

Palus, I appreciate your insight into Dzeko and that you have taken to City like a duck to water doesn't hurt either. But don't fall into the trap of feeling you have to defend Dzeko from every post that seems to slight him in any way. We have had groups of Samaras fans and Robinho fans come on here and they quickly get hounded out or leave when the player gets transfered.

All I'm saying is people need to stop going on like he's just pulled off the most spectacular performance of all time. He played well in the second half and its a start, but that's all it is at the moment. I wanna see him do that against big teams.

Who exactly has gone on like he's pulled off the most spectacular performance of all time?

You're weird mate.

I actually thought he was better in the 1st half than 2nd. Still extremely effective in both though and looking good.

Fuck me Lee, that's a bit late isn't it, especially after him scoring on Monday?

Not developments, the thread itself. Unless we are selling Edin?
