Poznan Ban - yeah right!

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Poznan Ban - yeah right!

Postby frozen_pea » Thu Aug 18, 2011 6:23 pm

Been on RedCafe and other silly twat forums that the Poznan is being banned by the council / FA (depending on forum).

Official MCFC Twitter

Ignore any rumours about The Poznan being banned. These stories are false and it's more than welcome, as always, at the Etihad Stadium #mcfc

We have been in touch with @ManCityCouncil and The FA regarding The Poznan rumours and both have rubbished today's stories #MCFC

Even if it was true, like to see anyone try and stop several thousand people spontaneously doing it.
I would have to say it would be easier trying to nail a blancmange to a wall than stop City fans in full flow.

Saw this on Twitter yesterday and my understanding is that the rumour was started by none other than Mr Terry 'fake accent' Christien.

He obviously has a problem with fans going to the match, making a noise and enjoying themselves.

Rags don't like supporting their own team, thats why they wear the wrong colour scarves to games in protest at their own club, so must hate all us blues who adore the club and it's owners. The Poznan is a very visible celebration, not just of scoring but of being a blue and long may it continue as we join together arms round each other and jump in unison

Would trying to ban The Poznan be a breach of our Human Rights ??

haha quite possibly but I think that City have consistently done that over the years.....I'm sure waterboarding can't be as bad as having followed us through the 90's and early 2000's!
