He won't play, the relevant papers are apparently just awaiting signatures. Not much of this saga left now.

The No1 position has been permanently retired as a mark of respect and deference to 'The Loop'. It was done last season, if you remember.

We can't be that close to signing him if Arsenal are willing to play him, it doesn't make sense to play a player your about to get 25M for him to possibly get injured.

Please make it stop. The whole thing has gone beyond boredom. At least in 13 days time all this transfer nonsense will end. Spoke to a mate who's a Spurs fan last week and he said their lot dont bother watching SSN until Aug 31st when Aitch does he late trolley dash.

I'd walk away from this. Let them pay him for a year and get nothing. Totally screws them. I think we can keep Tevez and win the league with what we have. Fuck Wenger and fuck Arsenal. It'll cost him his job this, he is costing them 25-30 million in fee plus wages. Money talks, so he will get the boot.

I've no doubt Nasri's almost ours. The same thing happened with Milner who actually came on as a substitute for Villa when everyone knew he was just about to sign for us. We need Nasri. How would people feel if Silva was out for 8 weeks with a broken metatarsal?

I also feel we need a wide man to put in some crosses for Edin if Plan A isn't working. By the sounds of things Mancini also wants a central defender presumably because he doesn't have entire confidence in either Lescott ( good in the air but indifferent passer) and Kolo ( good ball player but weakness in the air).

The problem is the bed blockers. Come on Cook and Marwood. Ship them out.

Wenger is so stubborn/stupid he is becoming a major problem for Arsenal, Nasri, wants away, turns down an offer, Plays for France, clearly he is gone in his mind, the Manager names him in the squad for Champs even though banned, Now in squad for League game at Emirates when whole crowd will be baying for his blood, that decision to force the the player to face the crowd has to be questioned by the board at Arsenal. It is also crap for the rest of the squad and the bullets in the chamber for the crowd to boo anything and anyone, if it goes badly against Lpool, This is a raging loony in charge, stressed out that much he might even be ill ?

The board are secretly happy that Whinger hasnt spent anything as they must have pocketed a decent wedge over the yrs...however because of this it will be their downfall.

They were fuckign shit against Udinese and will be shit for the rest of the season........I cant wait.Whinger is fuckign deluded and I suspect has a uncureable mental problem.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

I don't get why some of you are so hysterical. This deal is clearly going to happen. As someone else said we are not going to (nor do we need to) chuck him straight into action so the delay makes fuck all difference.

He gives us another dimension when he arrives but we have plenty til that happens

We need him for Sunday, we are playing top of the league in case you hadnt noticed. You need everyone available when you're playing one of the sides occupying the champions league spots.
