SSN,

Aston Villa want AJ and Milner on loan but, of course, we're telling them no.

Newcastle want Wayne Bridge but we want 2 million for a loan

On SSN,
Roque Santa Cruz would consider dropping down to the Championship but is waiting for Manchester City to make a decision on his future, according to his father.

The striker is well down the pecking order at the Etihad Stadium and spent the second half of last season on loan with Blackburn, where he had impressed earlier in his career.

It is unclear where he will be plying his trade this term, but if a move does not materialise quickly it could turn out to be a frustrating campaign.

Santa Cruz's father and agent, Aproniano, claims there is a lot of interest in his son, who turned 30 on Tuesday and is desperate to play regularly.

Aproniano also says the player is keen to stay in English football but recognises that City are in control of the situation.

"He has a contract with City until June 2013 and is available for what the club decides to do," Aproniano told Paraguayan newspaper ABC.

"They are looking for another club for him because Roque wants to go to another team where he can have more chances to play.

"There are teams interested, but if he was not injured there would be more teams.

"Roque is comfortable in Manchester and I would like an English team more (than a move abroad)."

Santa Cruz's father has also indicated that Leeds United could be in with a chance of signing the experienced international, as he would be open to the idea of playing in the Championship.

"The second division is very competitive in England, with powerful teams in huge stadiums," said Aproniano

"There are important teams like Leeds United, but his future will be decided by Manchester."

Thats from the Mirrors Darren Lewis on Twitter. I would agree that letting Adebayor go there could come back and bite us on the arse.

Is this still a loan deal or a permanent transfer? I get the feeling it could be the latter but it's not clear as previously, only a loan has been mentioned.

^^ I think its a loan deal with the possibility of a permanent move at the end of this season.

SSN,
Sky Sports News understands Tony Fernandes has completed his takeover of Queens Park Rangers and has bid £4million for Scott Parker.

The Premier League club are set to make an announcement on Thursday morning to confirm the news, but the Malaysian airline entrepreneur is wasting little time in looking to improve the squad.

Fernandes is understood to have acquired a 66 per cent stake in QPR from Bernie Ecclestone, while former vice-chairman Amit Bhatia has returned to the same role with a holding of 33%.

The pair are said to be in full support of manager Neil Warnock and are prepared to offer backing in the transfer market, with West Ham midfielder Parker identified as a target.

Whether the Hammers accept a fee of £4m for the England international remains to be seen amid reports a valuation is set closer to £8m.

But Fernandes, who watched as QPR's Premier League campaign started with a 4-0 defeat at home to Bolton, wants to bring quality to Loftus Road in order to improve the playing squad.

Skysports.com reported on Tuesday QPR had made an enquiry regarding Liverpool outcast Philipp Degen.

Amazing isn't it. I mean Parker absolutely bossed Premier League midfields and led his team to great heights with his stand out performances.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

I won't be sad to see ade leave, i don't think it will come back to bite us either. He is not a CL quality striker, he isnt of prem winning quality either. Spuds won't get top 4 with the addition of ade and they certainly wont be in the title race like us.

Plus isn't there the thing of him not being able to play against us if he is on loan anyway? If it was a loan and he was there main striker that would fuck them up against us. Not that i think we need it either, they will get a long overdue beating at the etihad this season and i think we will beat them at there place in 2 weeks aswell but not emphatically, maybe 2-1.

I meant a good battering, 4-0 and completely outplayed kind of beating.

Not that spastic crouch scoring an own goal.

Not quite a transfer, but:

Championship - Hull sack record signing Bullard

Hull City have terminated the contract of record signing Jimmy Bullard.

Bullard, 32, has not featured for the Tigers this season after being placed on suspension following an incident on a pre-season trip to Slovenia. He is contracted to the club until the end of the 2012-13 season.

A club statement said: "The club has given notice to terminate the contract of Jimmy Bullard.

"Mr Bullard has a right of appeal and it would be inappropriate to make any further comment at this time that might prejudice this process.

"The club will continue to focus on the development and performance of the squad going forward and is concentrated on efforts to deliver a positive season on and off the pitch for the Tigers."

Bullard, signed from Fulham for £5 million in January 2009, attended a disciplinary hearing last week at the KC Stadium, where he was represented by the Professional Footballers' Association.

The former Peterborough and Wigan midfielder, who has started only 19 league games for Hull during his time at the club, has been linked with a move to newly-promoted Barclays Premier League side QPR.

So basically, because they cannot afford his £40,000 a week wages any more they've fucked him off.

Rumour I heard was that his breach of club discipline during pre-season involved trying to pay for escorts

Overpaid surplus players get away with a lot of things, we can see this with some of our guys, but you have to be careful when you've got so much to lose.

Sacking isn't a great option when players have transfer value, and Hull paid a transfer fee for him, but will find miscreant players harder to sell.

ESPN,

Corriere dello Sport says AC Milan are looking at Peter Crouch, Emmanuel Adebayor and Mario Balotelli.

Spanish side Rayo Vallecano are interested in Manchester City frontman Roque Santa Cruz, according to the Daily Mail

QPR want to bring in Man City duo Shaun Wright-Phillips and Nedum Onuoha plus West Ham's Scott Parker before the transfer window closes, according to Daily Telegraph.

Sky Sports News report that "payments to agents" are holding up Samir Nasri's move from Arsenal to Manchester City.

SSN,
Fiorentina's sporting director Pantaleo Corvino claims they have rejected a bid from Manchester City for Alessio Cerci.

City's Italian boss Roberto Mancini admitted last week that Cerci could be an option as he looks to bolster his squad for Champions League football this season, as well as a potential challenge for the Premier League title.

Cerci has emerged as a highly-rated winger, scoring seven goals in 24 Serie A games for Fiorentina since joining from Roma last summer.

And Corvino insists the Viola have turned down a concrete approach for their 24-year-old star from the big-spending Blues.
"The only offer we have received is that of Manchester City for Cerci but the proposal didn't satisfy us," said Corvino.

"Cerci is an important player for us. He didn't ask to leave and we have no plans to sell off our players."

SSN,
A host of Premier League clubs are understood to be monitoring Manchester City starlet Abdul Razak.

The 18-year-old midfielder was originally a product of Crystal Palace's youth set-up before being snapped up by City in 2010.

He has progressed well through the ranks and was handed his first-team debut late last season.

But he has less than 12-months left on his current deal and that is believed to have alerted a string of City's Premier League rivals.

Skysports.com understands Liverpool, Fulham and Queens Park Rangers have all been impressed with Razak, and are keeping close tabs on his situation.

Razak, born in Ivory Coast, is also being closely tracked by England's youth set-up who are ready to call him up.
