If Aguero can keep Tevez out of the Argentina side, he can keep him out of the City side. I won't shed any tears for Tevez.

Aguero is the future. Tevez isn't.

He won't play two up front. It will be no surprise if Dzeko is upfront on his own. It will be a mistake if he does it.

Can't see why anyone wouldn't play Tevez. He's one of the top 5 players in the world. Him and Aguerro would be frightening together. i really hope we don't risk dropping points to 'make a point' to Tevez. If he's fit he plays.

play them both and win 9-0

Why would we drop Dzeko after last weeks performance?

Why would we drop tevez after the last 2 season's performance? and aguero was better last week than dzeko. To start dzeko before either of them on the back of being the second best striker against swansea is ludicrous.

Tevez situation is obviously not the same now as it was. Aguero came on against a side who had been battered for a good half hour & were now a goal down thanks to Dzeko & had no option but to leave space; which Aguero found. Dzeko's performance was one of the main reasons we were now in that position. He deserves another chance.

I don't know the answer to this question as haven't watched their international matches much but I was under the impression that the Tevez/Aguero partnership has been seen in Argentina's matches on occasion and hasn't exactly set the world alight (...hence the reason why Carlos has started less than Aguero of late).

On that basis, why do people think that they would make a good partnership for us? I think they both do similar things, too similar in my mind (at least in theory without having seen it in action).

Dzeko/Aguero looked good. I still think Dzeko/Tevez could work and you could chuck Balotelli in Dzeko's place IMO during the season.

I know the big man/little man partnership is a bit of a cliche but conceptually it seems to make more sense than little foraging terrier and little foraging terrier

But if tevez had started instead of dzeko, assuming he is still going to give his all, do you not think the result would of been similar or better?. Saying that dzeko deserves another chance because he scored 1 goal and dropping tevez after he has scored 50 odd seems a little contrary.

Don't get me wrong i like dzeko. But tevez is better and i think so is aguero. If there both fit dzeko is 3rd choice.

It seems we are spoilt for choice, but in reality there are question marks over all 3 of them.

Dzeko really struggled last season and could very easily revert back to that.
Tevez doesnt want to be here - he didnt want to last season though.
Aguero has only played 30 minutes against a newly promoted team that were chasing a game, away.

Argentina are not a team, they are a collection of individuals plus they also have Messi playing in the same areas as both of them; it's a lot to sort out in one or two training sessions. Tevez & Aguero would be playing for us in a team & can spend time training & talking together & with Mancini, if there are any problems. Usually they're not been part of the same starting 11 for Argentina either & have had nutters as coaches. The bloke has just left Tevez out yet again & picked a load of nobodies. Tevez & Aguero both being at City will be great for Argentina imo.

It just seems so wrong that Tevez is willing to go along with that shithouse of an agent when he could be a mainstay in one of the best sides ever to play in this country. The squad we're building is incredible. I'm not wearing the wifenkids bit; he's already proved that's lies by going off on a shagging holiday when Bob gave him leave to visit them. I can only think that Joorabchian has got something on Tevez, or still owns him so far as the law goes in Argentina.

If his wife is worth anything other than shit, she would understand & put up with it for a few years. She has a lifetime of corned beef farming to look forward to when he retires. I'm not having it. It's Kia.

Do not doubt for a second that Tevez is genuine in his adoration and desire to be with his kids. Raising a child with a South American mother is more than enough evidence for me to totally buy into Tevez' desire to be closer to them.

It all comes down to the fact that he shouldn't of played away. Give him the move and he'll take it. But it's not coming until January at least.

If he was that geniune then he would drop his salary down to 10 quid a month and go play for Boca Juniors........END of story pal.

It has everything to do with it....hes a greedy cunt...like 99% of footballers mate.

How much is Tevez worth ? 20 million? 30 million ? Im sure if he was that desperate to be with his family then he could part with some change for rat face Kia and then they would all be happy...seriously..it is that easy.
