Yonners is in reference to the accent of the natives of certain areas of around Manchester i.e. Bolton, Oldham, Ashton etc

Nice read Burt and I do like a decent pint with the match, so made even better. Usually have a few with the Bolton fans in the Sports Bar just across the way, not had my head kicked in yet so they're not all that bad ;-)

Strangely, I find myself reading the Previews after the games finished, well this season anyway, and they do seem to make a different type of read.
