QPR

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

QPR

Doing bit of "mini-City" (I know that sounds arrogant but that's the way it seems) right now with Barton signed and they are after SWP and Luke Young. This would be perfect situation for us to try and ship off some dead wood. They aren't going to take Crapadinhos like RSC but this would seem pretty natural move for Wayne Bridge for example. I think everyone would be happy.

In general, it will be interesting to see whether they can work the transfer markets in next few days well enough to push for lower midtable. I had them to stay up anyway as they look strongest promoted side on paper for me.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

I have got a mate who supports QPR and I was joking with him that Warnock is trying to turn them into City circa when Stuart Pearce was in charge. I asked him when will they be signing Darius Vassell and his reply was he that didn't mind as long as they didn't get Georgios Samaras!!

I also think they will stay up but think they need another decent striker as although Bothroyd and Campbell can be effective strikers they seem to be injury prone.

I agree with the Wayne Bridge sentiment - this must be our best way of getting rid of him

It would also be a good chance to get some loan deals sorted, for one or two youngsters or hopefuls. (if we havent sent them all to Bolton/Leicester)

I still think they'll be relegated and their new owner will bolt at the end of the season, though if SWP does end up going there then I hope they survive.
