Im glad I saw this thread, I'd have missed the programme otherwise.

Mine was genuine though. I always forget about MoTD (especially the Sunday one)

Sorry mate, didn't actually listen. For some reason I just get this picture in my mind of me ripping his head off and shitting down his throat. His lips move, I don't listen.

City on now and I don't seem to remember Spurs having this much of the play. Selective editing me thinks.

Had to follow the commentary online today, I didn't get the impression that spurs got the run of play that motd showed either. Still, better than a 2 min slot right at the end of the show!

It's all about the market share, we know, but with the ecstasy of the game today we feel quite un-City like so need to let off in someway. Berating MotD somehow feels right.

I suppose people had to find something to moan about but Motd gave us our dues tonight.

I felt they completely glorified us especially after the game.Hansen, Martinez and Dixon were all over us and really talked us up.As for that Twat presenting the show..... has he even followed football, what is he even doing on the show?

We had 21 minutes coverage by the way, must be a record(bar being on the end of a derby hammering)

Agreed. He proclaims to being a City fan but always pundits as an ex-Arsenal player. Is that professionalism, I'm still unsure?

I presume as a pundit that is expected of him.He was with them well over 10 years and easily picked up that amount of honurs in his time at Arsenal.

It's true, he's there as an Arsenal pundit not a City one. What I hate is that he is now given the role to have a say but always introduced as a City supporter, putting him on the defensive every time.

I'd love to see Paul Walsh on Sky again, sticking it to Merson, however I can't see that anytime soon, hell will freeze over first with Murdoch in charge.

When Dixon started the MOTD gig he was firmly behind City, often refering to City as "us". But I remember reading something in (I think) The Guardian abuot him having to tone it down. Since then he has and only seems to talk about Arsenal in the "us" way.

He's probably been told to cater to MOTD's casual football audience market.

Casual, as in Arsenal. The former Top 4 were a marketing dream and now that we're crashing the party certain outlets are losing a share of the market.

Maybe we'll take that market share up sooner than they thought and things will change in our favour (begrudgingly) rather than reverting to type?

PS. Just watched Taggarts interview again with the BBC and he seemed to not want to gloat on Wenger's problems but instead referring to their continued battles over the years.
