He's probably been told to cater to MOTD's casual football audience market.

Casual, as in Arsenal. The former Top 4 were a marketing dream and now that we're crashing the party certain outlets are losing a share of the market.

Maybe we'll take that market share up sooner than they thought and things will change in our favour (begrudgingly) rather than reverting to type?

PS. Just watched Taggarts interview again with the BBC and he seemed to not want to gloat on Wenger's problems but instead referring to their continued battles over the years.

Probably worried that Wenger may have lost his marbles.

Agreed. He proclaims to being a City fan but always pundits as an ex-Arsenal player. Is that professionalism, I'm still unsure?

The usual way into the BBC is through London and/or Oxbridge. He'S a footballer so Oxbridge is out, and he is from Burnley, so that leaves him only the arsenal option.

Try to think of him as a former Chester, Stoke and Bury defender if that helps.

Re coverage, the majority of thinking of the BBC is centred on London. They have always edited things in favour of the clubs from the capital. It does nothing to take away from what we all saw.

I find it hard to understand why it would spoil things for anyone. To me a little bit of adversity just makes it sweeter.

Cos in their eyes we're "buying" our success. Nothing to do with Bobby buying the right players and skillfully blending them into a fabulous team, of course. Look at Real Madrid. They went through several years of buying all the best players but hardly won anything.
If you can keep your head when all around you are losing theirs, it's just possible that you haven't really grasped the gravity of the situation.

Not a word! Hence my question earlier up this thread.

25 years in England and still hasn't learned the language!

It goes back a lot further than the takeover, mate.
