I travelled down there with my mate - a United fan - and my 20 year old missus, armed to the teeth with tickets hoping to make a killing, only to find touts virtually giving them away.
Saw Spurs first goal.
Some trouble broke out in the crowd behind me so I kept my eye on it to make sure the wife would be ok, caused me to miss McKenzies goal.
Second half, we got the penalty.
Knowing the crowd was going to surge come what may, I held the missus around the waist. As the ball hit the net I forgot and threw my arms up, simultaneously pulling her T-shirt up and exposing her ample and unfettered tits to all who wanted to look (including my mate).
Ended up sobbing like a baby all the way out of the stadium only to be clouted on the nose by a thunderous punch from a Spurs fan, who then disappeared into the night - twat !
Then there was the walk to Neasden and the drive home - 'wonderful'.

Wow, same for me. I was in the Upper Tier and the trouble was below me, but still managed to miss the goal. I remember people clambering into and over the netting that was across the tunnel entrance. Bizarre. Lots of Spurs fans in the Lower Tier, tunnel end, as I remember. 20,000 tickets went on sale at Wembley, so very fair on City fans. I also remember it being very easy for my Dad to get 5 tickets during the week.

I was in the lower tier s1tym. Loads of Tottenham fans right behind us giving it large.
I remember some mad fucking woman had a baby of about 3 months old in her arms as well - nuts.

The whole night was pretty unpleasant. I went to school, in Coventry, and got the train to Euaton, where a mate of my Dads picked me up. Got me to Wembley Park, which was swarming with Cockneys. Some little turd came up and offered a handshake of goodwill...yeah, right. I was pretty scared as there were about 10 of them stood around us. I think my Dads mate saved me from a belting. By the time we got up Wembley Way, there were nore City fans around, though we were heavily outnumbered in the stadium. The Upper tier was all blue, but where you were was definitely a mixed bag.
When we scored the penalty to go 2-1 up, I thin we all felt we were going on to win 4-1, or something like that. We had all the momentum. Then the defence went to sleep and allowed Garth Crooks space for the equalizer. Villas goal is etched on my mind. I think he beat Tommy Caton twice!
We got the tube to somewhere in North London, harrow I think, where my Dad had parked up. Some fucker on the tube pipes up, 'Take me home Daddy', as we got off. I think I've hated them to this day ever since.
Still, the semi-final still ranks as the best time I have had at a match and the best atmosphere I have ever experienced at any sporting event. City took over Villa Park and the Holte End was like a bear garden when we scored. Fucking glorious it was.

The sight of Perryman lifting that gleaming trophy has stuck in my mind's eye ever since - and I've tried no end of Optrex ;-)
I couldn't go to the semi final but when power got the winner I ran out of the house all the way down our street like a fucking nutter. I was the only one as most of my neighbours were reds.
