Wigan at Home, little help please?

Postby city9_4eva » Fri Sep 02, 2011 11:45 am

Me and the old man are attending this game, however we both want to drink so weve looked at train and bus prices, both quite expensive, so was wondering if there was any supporters clubs around the bedfordshire area that travel to games on a coach all together? any help would be greatly appreciated, cheers

Here's a list of support clubs:

Seems a bit wrong to just ask them for a lift though.

Driving and staying overnight might be an option?

Sounds like somebody not drinking might be an option however impossible that might sound :)

Im not going to just ask someone for a lift, if theres space in a coach etc, we will obviously pay! in answer to your question there are tickets available in the south stand upper tier where away supporters usually sit, as it appears Wigan have not sold out their allocation

Well we're playing Wigan so "blocks" is probably over egging the pudding. They'll have half a dozen seats in the South Stand.

Away fans normally occupy South Stand

113,114,115
213,214,215

For the Wigan game City fans have been the Upper Tier of the South Stand (213,214,215) but these are now sold out.

Very limited number of tickets remaining

A bit optimisitc that. They'll come in a taxi, max persons = 5.

Sat. 3pm. Against City. I'd expect them to sell out. They travel in decent numbers given the size of their home support

In 2008/9 which is the last time I bought a programme, they brought 2,400 fans

I'd hope that they would sell out, seeing as they've been given a reduced allocation! I'm sat in the blocks above them, should be a good atmosphere there.
