I know someone who knows Marwood. I obviously cant say who but I know Kippax knows him and if he wants to PM I'll happily verify it with him.

Cook sent that email. He didnt mean to send it to Dr Onoua. He pressed reply instead of forward and it was meant for Marwoods eyes only.

Dr Onoua sent the email to Kia after the Everton move was scuppered who gave it to Simon Curtis at the Sun.

City will be closing ranks. Cook will remain in his job. The stumbling block with De Jongs contract is City are now refusing to do business with Kia.

Big Nige knows which side his bread is buttered on. I suspect that the next time we see that piece of shit Kia, he'll have some stud marks on his chest and one less player on his books.

What an absolute farce this has been. I can't believe we have people on here who are seriously saying that Cook should lose his job over this.

There are 2 kinds...the ones that just do not like him and want him out and the other being PC wankers.

Its a fucking none story thats shamefully made its way into the Public domain to derail our train ride into fantasia.

Die Kia you utter utter turd of a man.

It's a shame if he did send it beause after reading her email to him, I could honestly say the reply wasn't all that bad and most could firgive it. Lying about sending it though has to be a big no no.
\

Honestly if you were negotiating with someone and they sent their mum in who started telling you she could only have short meeting cos she was "ravaged with cancer" do any of you Cooke-outers not think you would consider that a bit of a low blow.

You can either negotiate and leave your health out of it, or you can bring it into discussion and accept it might not get what you consider to be adequete sympathy and tastefulness when negotiating. The choice was hers.
Tracking back is overrated.

He made a mistake. We all do. Let's move on, Cook has done wonders at City and I think this indiscretion can be put to bed.

Of all the tabloid hysteria you will read about Cook and this email, this post sums up the bare facts brilliantly with the one added note that the particular tabloid turd in this bowel who claimed the "exclusive" is, I believe, Shaun Custis.

If De Jong wants to remain at City, he will lose contact with his "Agent" - if he doesnt, then he signs his exit ticket in Jan or next summer.

It was an honest mistake. Nothing more. If Neds mum is so upset, then Cook should apologise.

Shit happens. Simple as that. Move on.

This is not a big deal. We just need some more games to help this blow over.

Any talk of Cook going over this is as stupid as it is bollocks.

So, basically, the consensus seems to be that it's ok for a senior employee of the club to tell lies in public.

Well, that's Broken Britain for you.

why would she even keep that email for ten months? unless she was cynically waiting for a time when she could use it
if the woman was so offended by the thing why did she not make it public last year

which employee has told a lie in Public Lev? Haven't seen any quotes from Garry Cook so can't be him, or have you already judged and convicted him.

Hopefully not Gary Cooke. But, reading through many of the posts on here, if he had been lying then it seems most folks would support him. (The question is: is he telling the truth when he says his email had been hacked?)

After living here in this apocoliptic, fucked up, snot on grass place they call Mexico I am so open minded, to the extent that I would even converse and buy a pint for a snotty uni grad.

Cook is alright Lev......he is doing wonders for our club and thats all that matters.....some quarters are already out with the fireing squad over what in all reality is a "nothing action"...christ on a bike I cannot believe some fans are getting reeled in by it.

If there is no evidence of Cook blaming this on "hackers", then it's pretty simple really. Issue a statement that the situation was dealt with & apologise to Mrs Onuoha (again) if necessary. The end. What's taking them so long?

I am a huge admire of what GC has done for us the fans and the club in general and as far as the email go an apology would and should be enough

The problem lies IF he has lied about that email if he hasn't then the matter is at an end if he has then I am afraid his position is untenable as a CEO you can mistakes but you can not get away with covering them up

Now none of us know who said what, to whom and when so lets just wait for the internal investigation to end and see what results

I am minded to agree - but this may turn into a battle for goodwill. And assuming Cook has lied and the press really sink their teeth in (as we know they can and will) then he will be a goner.

Let's hope he's been telling the truth ....................
