Silva for me, Kun right behind, but I was really impressed with how Clichy and Richards played on both ends of the pitch.

I am 26 years and 5 months old. David Silva is the best player I've ever seen in a Manchester City shirt. By a mile.

He was entitled to sit down, have a ciggy & a cup of tea, but instead, he ran30 yards to get into position. I've read posts on here telling me how it was wrong to ask stars like Robinho & Elano to do stuff like that, well you can fuck off; David Silva does it & they're not fit to wipe the shit from his arse.

Awesome performance.

my thoughts exactly

Silva. As hard as it is to overlook a man with a hattrick.

Silva for me, but for the fourth game running an argument could easily be put forward for 5 or 6 players to be man of the match. Lovely stuff.

I voted for Kun. Top drawer finishing. Silva was sublime but one who caught my eye was Lescott. He looks to be really on it. To those stupid fuclers who say he has no composure on the ball. Just check out that skill and awareness he showed when he carried the ball interchanging with various players in the first half.

The magical Silva for me, closely followed by Sergio - what a signing he is going to be.

Defends a City corner and misses an open net.

Composure? You're having a laugh.

Aguero made it look easy, but it wasn't. Compare to AJ in the same spot as Aguero, later in the game, bearing down on the keeper from a through ball--could not put it past him. And that's the difference

Lescott & Vinny both played some nice stuff on the ball, which would have the media on a wanking frenzy talking about 'cuntured defenders' had it been Rio Ferdinand.

Re Silva, he's not the best player I've ever seen in a City shirt but I recon he'd find a place in any City team I've seen. Tbf though, that's true of most of these players SO FAR this season, the way they're playing. Bell would get in this team, easily, but most of the other City greats I've seen would have to be on top form to get in this side. These blokes are playing at a level rarely seen in this country, never mind just at City. This is approaching the Henry/Vieira Arsenal level; the best team I've ever seen in the flesh.

Can we keep it going ? That's the question.

I think it's just the start. The strength in depth of the squad should ensure that there's minimum disruption when the suspensions and injurys start kicking in.

Look at last season where we lost De Jong or Tevez. This season we've not missed either of them. Just need to keep Silva wrapped in cotton wool, though I think that there's enough creativity now to cope with anyone.
