Club Badges

City aside, have you got a fave?

I love the Wolves badge. So simple, so distinctive. I also am fond of the lion on the Middlesbrough badge for some reason. Very traditional.

Which one(s) have got the look and are so hot right now for you darling?

Spurs and Chelsea are pretty sleek. I don't like the Wolves one - looks too NFL, i.e. not traditional enough.

I quite like Stokes, a traditional crest of arms type badge as it Newcastle's. Middlesborings one sucks and do the team and place in general.

I really liked Bolton's until they added those two fucking sperm tails to it. It was really classy old school graphical design. Don't now what the fuck they were thinking.

I quite like spurs as well. It's sleek. The Liverbird is also OK.

Likewise, I've always liked the Leeds badge too for some reason and the update is quite a nice design too

I was wondering about this a few weeks ago- it seems as if over half of the clubs in the Football League have changed their badge since about 1997- were such changes always so proliferate, or is it a recent trend?

From the current Premiership clubs, I think only Liverpool, Newcastle and Norwich have the same badge as they did 15-20 years ago. Arsenal, Everton, and Rags have only made minor changes.

Errrrrrr.........
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?
