We not doing ratings for CL matches then?

Hart - Could possibly have done better with the goal -6
Zaba- THought he did ok, but I'm biased - 7
Kompany - Made a few errors, but what he did well, he did well - 6
Lescott - Solid - 7
Kolarov - Broken nose and wicked free kick - 7
Yaya - thought he was great - 8
Barry - Won't attempt backheals again - 7
Nasri - Good start but faded - 8
Silva - Quiet by his standards - 7
Aguero- Showed his quality - 7
Dzeko - Getting better and better - 8

Nasri an 8? He was ineffective and almost anonymous.

My stand out's are

Kolarov was poor - 5 - looked like he was running through wet concrete and his passing isn't accurate enough
Nasri - poor also - 5 - unfit?
Yaya - 8/9 - an immense display and constantly kept the tempo going in MF

Nearly 6s all around for me. 7s for Yaya and Aguero. Thought Kompany was a bit off his usual standard.

You should get a job with one of Sunday tabloids.

You'd be the toast of every dressing room in the country.

Hart - Could perhaps have saved the goal - 6
Zaba - Ok defensively but little going forward - 6
Kompany - Good goal-line clearance but it is noticeable that errors are creeping into his game. Sort it Vinny - 4.5
Lescott - Decent if unspectacular - 6
Kolarov - Scored a very good free-kick but offered less going forward in open play than I would expect. Maybe troubled by broken nose...? - 6.5
Yaya - Constantly moving us forward. Could have scored but hit the bar - 8
Barry - Unspectacularly goes about his business but gave the ball away very cheaply for their goal - 5
Nasri - Good first ten minutes, anonymous the rest. A very Arsenal "performance" from him. Not even nearly good enough - 4
Silva - Was he on the field in the second half? - 4
Aguero - Worked really hard and showed his huge talent in patches but got little reward. Unlucky when hit the bar - 7
Dzeko - Did well holding the ball up, unlucky with good shot across the keeper in the first half - 7
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

:)
I wanted to start a ratings thread but thought I should at least write something. I actually missed 20 mins of the first half as I had to hotfoot it to my mate's. So maybe you're right about the Sunday tabloid thing :p

Yaya was best player on the pitch for us.
Zaba was good in defense i thought.
Dzeko worked his tail off.
Kolarov, regardless the goal, was good in defense and worked tirelessly.

Aside from those 4 everyone else was poor in my opinion.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

Yaya is getting lots of praise for his moving us forward but I thought that was more down to Napoli's gameplan. They marked Nasri and Silva out of the game and allowed Yaya as much time on the ball as he liked, knowing that he wouldn't create anything near the quality of chances usually crafted by the other two.

I thought Barry was decent and he lost the ball for the goal due to a poor pass behind him (from Nasri I think)

Yaya pissed me off during the match, I didn't think he put a shift in except for a few trademark bursts - After the comments here I will watch my recording and maybe rethink

disagree with you.

I thought Kolarov had a decent game. He snatched us 1 point from what could have been an embarrassing loss.
What do you expect him to do? He's not messi.
His passing was fine as well. Don't know what you were watching.

And yet, he scored vital goals for us last season and almost did the same to them the other night, and it was still 0-0 when he hit the bar so a goal then would have served us the game on a silver plate. It was a risky tactic by Napoli, it worked but only just. If I were an opposing manager I wouldn't snuff him so easily, he's a force to be reckoned with in our midfield.
