Stunning by Faurlin, Barton looking the business.

Nasri did his own personal tribute to Joey Barton with his free kicks to the oppo goalkeeper on Weds.

Tbh he's a very good capture for Warnock, all his troubles aside, he's a bloody good player on his day.

I think he's very very average personally & nobody would notice him if he wasn't a famous thug. Good Championship player.

Scouse 1 Pie eaters 1. Surprisingly, Everton scored from a corner.

That's being harsh tbh. He was brilliant for us at times under Pearce, infact had it not been for him we may well of gone down.

He's a thug, yes. Which is why it's such a shame because he is a quality player.
Far better than a Championship Player.

He was brilliant in the opinion of some people including himself. I don't share that opinion & thought him & Dunne were two average players in a shit side.

Funny how perceptions differ.

Anyway, that's my FL team knackered, think I might have to use my Wild Card.

Playing with nine players, most probably.

Oh give over, you know exactly what I mean. To say Barton, who's played well and scored goals for every Premier League side he's played for is a Championship player is stupid and biased and I'll stand by that.

Without him and Dunne in the squad we would have gone down.

I think Barton is mostly lower PL to mid Championship standard, occasionally ( I in 10) has a good game, more occasionally (1 in 5) is fucking diabolical. I thought City under Pearce were the worst City side going forward I've ever seen, bar none. How difficult is it for a defender & a defensive midfielder, to star in a team which never comes out of its own half ?

If we'd had any other well known midfield journeyman, they would have 'starred' in that formation. I say starred loosely as imo he was average amongst utter utter shite.

Because there were a number of games in which he carried us which no other player could do in the side.

So ? We were shit. Plenty of journeymen players would have bveen better than what we had, including Barton. He didn't carry us before Pearce's days & he hasn't carried anyone else since Pearce, just talked a good game in shit teams, caused endless problems, got banned & held on for a transfer to make more money for himself, totally disrupting the team, like he did at City.

We didn't score a goal at home from New Year's Day to the end of the season. Please tell me what he did that "no other player could do in the side"?

He didn't score any goals and he didn't make any cos the whole team didn't score any for months until Michael Johnson got in the side. Perhaps it was his defensive play that made us so solid rather than the nine men that clueless gibbon of a manager put behind the ball.

Feels nice to have another dig at that fukin idiot Pearce as well, just for old times' sake.

If the Prem continues the way it is at present, we're going to see all manner of strange shit happen before the season's out.

If he wasn't a weirdo shithead, he could be a star next to David Silva in City's team now; the ideal player for this set up.

Still cant believe that Arsenal lost.....everything is going wrong for them. 2 own goals? hahah.

The 3 promoted clubs look decent this week and im very surprised by that.
