I think footy fans exaggerate greatly. Liverpools buys aren't shit Or average. They're quite good, so good that they will have a much better shot at top 4 than the last two seasons and won't rely soley on Stevie g getting fit.

The truth in it is while they do look a stronger side, the premiership has progressed beyond needing very good players to compete. You need world class and that they dont have.

Thanks in advance.

Adam for two bookable fouls. Second one a bit harsh.

Suarez goal offside, late call but the right one.

Seriously? He planted his studs in his thigh for god's sake!

i thought for sure it was a straight Red, no questions asked.

Having seen it again, yes probably you're right. He went for the ball though, don't think there was intent in it.

That actually is probably a pretty good assessment of how i feel as well. They've bought very good footballers. Could they meld into a fantastic team? I feel they could, but you are right they don't have a couple world-class superstar players who would walk into many of the best sides in the world.

Cue Slim to tell us we're both fucktards please.

Suarez is such a dirty fucking cheating cunt. I do not normally wish injury to other players but dear me I would not mind if Barton or Cattermole snapped his legs in two.

Did anyone see his "karate chop" to Parker's throat at the end of the first half? Parker looked extremely pissed off afterwards (understandably so).

King Kenny, the refs aren't out to get you, it's just that your players are a bunch of thugs having to foul to compensate for their lack of ability.

Horrible cnut - was calling the linesman or ref a "son of a bitch" after he got booked coz I lip read his Spanish. Our refs should learn a few hispanic expletives imo ;)

You are both fucktards. OK, the players they've bought might do a good job for them this season (not top 4 good, mind), but they will be in deep financial shit the day they decide to upgrade / let them go. Carrol will never be worth close to what they paid. Neither will Downing. The jury is still out on Henderson, but I doubt it. Adam - perhaps. He was fairly cheap. But I still don't think he's a top 4 player.

Most of our current crop of players will not be sold at a profit, doesn't take away the fact they ate doing the job we need.

Fact is the players bought by pool will give them a better shot at top4 and if they get back in the cl will have repaid some of those hefty fees

i think Scouse filth will be Top 4 this season...Spurs might give them a good run, but 'Arry will fuck off for England and leave them in the shit like he's wont to do.

cheers

Fact is the players they have bought honestly are not really good enough for where they want to be.I think they should have a chance considering they have no european football.this will give them a great advantage but even with that i certainly would not bet on them finishing top 4.

I think the players the scouse have bought will prove to be like Bridge, Robinho, Santa, etc. for us. Perhaps necessary for the moment, but grossly overpriced, and not the right ones on the long run. But only time will tell.
