lets just take a backward step here, first half we outplayed fulham, we should have got into there faces and scored maybe 2 more,2nd half we did have it right, scored a goal and should of got out of second gear and made sure for the 3 Pt's. trouble was we took the foot off and allowed fulham to come back to us, what i can't stand is all the passing 25-30 yards out and not going anywhere, we need to push as fast as we can as we have the players to do this, next time we are 2-0 up keep focus city. anyway we are still 2nd so not a bad start for us, oh take yaya off after 55-60 min and put barlo or tevez on

We'll be better next week vs. Everton.

The Yaya-Barry combination as a two is what is worrying me. In the last two games both have been given plenty of the ball and are finding it difficult to drive us into good areas. Last year Yaya was always guaranteed that two midfielders were left behind if he surged forward but the system with the fluid 4 up front doesn't allow for it anymore. It will work against open, attacking teams like Spurs but when we are playing teams who will look to counter we are going to struggle to open them up with Yaya or Barry initiating attacks.

On a more positive note, both de Jong and Milner have it in them to drive forward out of tackles and get our attacks started quicker so that the opposition are panicking rather than thinking about how they can counter when they regain possession. Everything through Barry and Yaya today was too slow.

Another point, which I was consistently making last year is that De Jong makes Kompany look better than he is; also, that he spoils his back four, the way he covers for them, and minimises the impact of their mistakes.
Perhaps we might get enough out of Hargreaves that he can deputise for him because, right now, neither Ya Ya nor Barry can

our bogey team!

And I remember two previous occasions, home and away, - both under Sven, I think, - where we let Fulham back in a game when we had them on the rack

You should win against the bottom fucking team after being 2 nil up....so stick your fucking calm down touch.

There are Winning and losing mentalitys...yours is obviously a losers one if this draw didnt piss you off !

Got to agree with Carl - 2 up you win the game WHATEVER it takes = winning mentality

What shite. He saved two certain goals when Fulham were pressing at 2-1, a great dive to his right and an acrobatic tip over the bar.
And that's why he's England's best.

The subs were mystifying. Mancini had a bad game. Very bad.

For me it was Mancini and his subbing decisions that did us in today. Didn't mind Zabba coming in at 2-1 but not for Silva !! It could have Nasri or better still Dzeko. And Tevez and Balo (not AJ) should have come on much earlier.
Still it took a bad refereeing decision and a lucky deflection for Fulham to draw but in no way I'm holding that as an excuse. We should have buried the match at 2-0, instead we became too complacent thinking the match was over. Oh well we were bound to drop points at some stage, so let's treat this as a wake up call for the players and most importantly for Mancini.

i think most everyone would agree with that perspective...2-0 up and you should win. It's kind of a no-brainer to say that.

Were Dejong available to come on instead of Zabs today i think we win this one.

cheers

Joe got us right out of the shit today.

Im still scratching my head over Mancini's subs?
If were drawing a game why take off your best attackin MF and bring Zabba on? I can only see he wanted to make sure we kept it at 2-2 which is a fucking disgrace considering were playing the bottom side.
Tevez for Aguero? Dzeko was havin a very quiet game so why wasnt he taken off?

Oh and top it all off Chelsea have missed some sitters and should be level...Phil Dowds a wanker to.

Mancini at times seems less decisive when things aren't going our way than he used to be. I remember how we marvelled in his first few months in charge how he would nip things in the bud before we were punished by swapping positions, making a critical sub, etc. Today felt like a Hughes game where we were battered for 10-15 minutes with no sign of changes.

Elsewhere, as well as being apparently recorded and edited on a 1979 third-party Walkman, the Bluemoon podcasts have become dangerously smug this season, with huge wins being predicted against everyone. Maybe this will calm them down a bit.

Got to love City fans on here at times. Sure I'm gutted, like everyone with the way we threw it away today but 13 points from 15, I'd have taken that at the start. We are going to have wobbles and this won't be the first.

From what I've read mate no-one on here is going over the top, just saying it as they see it. At least nobody has called for Mancini's head yet.
