When Hughes was in charge, all you lot slated him every time someone made an individual mistake at the back in a side which tried to attack. Bob improved it by concentrating on defence, getting the whole team behind the ball & half the time boring the shit out of us. Now he's been trying to attack, we've suffered a bit defensively. It may be the price we have to pay to go up a level.

We can't expect to be instantly brilliant at both ends.

Brilliant no....very good yes...at the moment we are kak. De jong isnt back 4...he cannot make them not fuck up ! Its all down to individual errors......a change is needed.

It's different people making the errors almost every game though. We've made a big leap forward on the attacking side but the only way to learn how to defend with a side half full of attackers is to get on with it & learn how to solve the problems as they arise. Hughes was trying to do that admittedly with an inferior team but it's not neccessarily easy to do it quickly, even with better players. If you play attacking football it will happen. The rags & Barca concede a lot of chances even now, they just tend to find a way through it. I just hope Bob is allowed to get on with it rather than pressed into becoming dull again, especially if we get turned over once or twice.

Ill agree with you on the hope that Mancini doesnt revert back to that boring shit we had last season but I............fuck me Torres has just missed a fucking OPEN NET..COMPLETELY OPEN....50 MILLION QUID HAHAHHAHAHAH...............Anyway....take out Kompany imo..rest him.

That's an example of exactly what I'm talking about; rags fuck up defensively; again. It happens regularly. They've just learned how to deal with it after a period of time & still win (& get away with it).

I hate seeing American-English spellings too (defense, offense, etc), but with City fans hailing from all over the world it's something I'm (grudgingly) learning to live with.
