Well lets hope we don't rue them 2 points dropped when the season closes.

An obese one at that, and probably by design. My guess is he plans to eat his way out of Manchester.

Sounds like those two restaurants will be putting out the 'Help Wanted' ads., any day now, then!

Two points lost, still hoping Stoke will trouble the rags next week.

Couldn't have put it better myself. If we finally get rid of the Everton jinx next week then 16 points from 18 would be a stunning start.

I think games like today will give the necessary kick up the arse like the charity shield provided earlier in the season.

What's the betting Torres hits form when we play Chelsea?

From what I've read mate no-one on here is going over the top, just saying it as they see it. At least nobody has called for Mancini's head yet.

Even though it's just two points, it's one of the games that will cost us the title if we don't get there, as they've just beaten Chelsea so there's only realistically us left who would be remotely likely to beat them at OT. They could have a 100% home record if we don't get anything there. In that case, every away point is vital as that's the only area where we can possibly catch them.

It's understandable we're subject to these lapses though, it's still early in our development & as Bob would say; we must improve.

Mancini saying we were tired. He obviously feels that Barry/ Yaya ( not sure which) weren't up to two matches in a few days. Couldn't freshen things up today because Milner, De Jong and Hargreaves unavailable.

I can accept that a tough Champion's League takes more out of the players than many matches but Fulham played on Thursday. At the end of the day the totally fair computer has us away after every Champion's League match and the rags at home. Somehow we have to cope with that.

I can't see United with the quality and mentality they have dropping easy points like we did today. They've already dispatched 3 of last seasons top 5 by an aggregate of 14-3. An awful lot will rest on the two derbies this season.

Mancini, after having spent billions and now has a team whose depth is the envy of all and sundry, to now say that "we were tired"..he should be fined a months wages the cheeky cunt.

I really really hate these excuses that he comes out with...pathetic.

I hate this shit. I've defended him on the substitutuion & everything else; I don't blame him at all for that game, but to use tiredness as an excuse, an hour into the game when 2-0 up, is just not on. It opens us up to ridicule. If it's after we get home from Germany or Italy etc it would be a bit more acceptable but we were at home FFS.

Agreed; he's got the 'two quality players in every position' that he wanted; no more 'game every three days' bollocks, Roberto!

Imho, i think he was talking about the tiredness that was accumulated by the players after the international games, two weeks ago.
Anyhow, shocking excuse for him at this stage of the competition.

Am i the only one that thinks that the rotation system that we apparantly have, is used only with the fullbacks and rarely with AJ and Milner?

I agree Ted. Just repeating what he said. Personally I don't like Yaya and Barry playing together especially away from home. If we're playing Nasri and Silva we need a really defensive minded midfield player and we didn't have one today. We can always second guess the substitutions. He picked Silva rather than Nasri but the instinct was right. We were losing control of midfield and he wanted someone to put in some tackles. His only option was Zabaleta.

Still the team fell apart after losing a goal away from home and that's not good enough. I think he knows that but he doesn't like giving the team a slagging off in public. They deserved it though after that spineless last half hour.

If at 49 I can go on a seven mile hike after hardly eating for 24 hours and after drinking most of a bottle of whisky yesterday, then footballers twenty years my junior should be able to get through 90 minutes no problem. Rather than tired, I'd say "couldn't be arsed". Mancini probably thinks he's defending his players when he comes out with stuff like that, but the danger is that he's giving them an excuse to fail. As someone else said, Fulham played on Thursday.

I think we'll see it a lot more when everyone is fit. With hindsight, I think it was a mistake to rest Dzeko, he was on a roll.

Mancini blew it again.
Leaves his warrior on the bench and expects him to come in with 8 minutes (again) and save his ass.
Aguero is on for goals for sure for sue.
However, he does squat to direct the game in an aggressive manner on the opposition the way Tevez and Silva do. He 'he hangs out' and waits for Dzeko to make good headers at him like for that 11 second goal.
