Best I can offer is an hour long highlights show on NorwayTV.

I guess that games has been chosen in the "essence" a cup comp, minoes V "giants" ?

In theory, we'll be shown later on in the competition based on the assumption that we are tipped to do well.

Broadcasting rights will stop City streaming it with out a doubt, they only show pre season friendlies etc.

Not live on tv = no streams as there won't be any live up links for streamers to tap in to.

So I guess we'll have to follow it on the OS and use our imagination to visualise the match. Not even radio coverage in this day and age, ridiculous !

it will be on the key103 radio stream off the match centre on the OS mate....I'm sure of that

If you can’t get to the Etihad Stadium for tonight’s Carling Cup tie with Birmingham then stay right here with us on our Match Day Centre.

Now in a new pop-out format that allows you to simultaneously browse our great video and text content, the MDC has everything you need to enjoy the game.

There are manager’s notes, player stats and head-to-heads, team line-ups, a picture gallery and a running text commentary and analysis.

You will see the team news first and also be able to interact with tonight’s commentator Tim Oscroft through our official Twitter and Facebook accounts. Not only that the e-programme will be available for you to read just to add to the big match feel.

And that’s not all because the MDC also provides radio commentary from BBC Radio Manchester’s Ian Cheeseman and his guests at the ground.

So for the most comprehensive coverage of tonight’s cup tie just log on and enjoy the MDC before sticking around for the match report and the video and text reactions from boss Roberto Mancini and the players. All exclusive to mcfc.co.uk.

Not sure about that as Fulham v Chelsea has had a good run late with more streams than the Brighton/Liverpool game now.

I would have thought some UAE channel might have picked it up, but alas the creek bed is dry.

I don't think its up to the foreign satellite channels to broadcast it or not. Aljazirah Sport show heaps of live football from Europe, South America and even the U.S. and they are showing exactly the 2 matches that are being televised in the U.K. They would have no problems showing a City match on one of their 14 (yes 14) channels as City has an ever growing following now in the Middle East.
So the problem is at the source (the English League restrictions, I guess).
