Tevez

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Tevez has made his bed and now he has to lie in it.

Imho at the moment the pecking order should be Aguero, Dzeko, Balotelli. The few times Tevez has had a chance to impress he failed (Napoli being the prime example).
so now as every enemy circles our city

I think he's the best striker in world football based on the last two seasons... Messi and ronaldo obviously not being strikers as such... He fucked up with being a bit of a thick cunt and we dont rely on him solely as we have done thank fuck. But what a weapon to have until he leaves. He'll score 10 between now and when he leaves mark my words. And that's ok with me.

I dont see him playing against Bayern..that will be Dzeko upfront in that particular game imo and the little I have seen of him up to now I dont care what he does as he seems a shadow of his former self imo.

Dzêko loves to score against Bayern !

I cant see any problem here. He's probably been told it will all be sorted in January and until then he will play when required. End of.

Tevez needs to shift a about 10 - 12 lb's which will help him get a starting place as well.

Dear lord, he wanted to leave, you ca't blame him for that. It's not exactly a financial issue is it? He has never, ever given us less than 100% on the pitch. The amount of games in the last two seasons he single handedly won for us is ridiculous. Some people need to get over themselves. He hardly 'treated us like shit'. We have a world class player here, would be so foolish not to use him.

Get over themselves....what does that even mean?
Of course he treated us like shit,we have bent over backwards for him and at every chance he has had he has undermined us.
Transfer requests,Late returns,Throwing strops and you can be sure there's more we don't know about.
all while gettin special treatment by us.
Look at his club football history and you might see it isn't the first time he's done this!

No, he wanted to leave. You can't have a go at him for that. Balotelli has thrown as many strops. He's still one of the best strikers in world football and not playing him at all would just shoot ourselves in the foot. He's ten times the player Dzeko is.

Well no. He was unhappy and had given us two years great service. He always gave 100%and scored shitloads of goals. In fact I'd say that is treating us well. Normally its about the money but given the wage he was on here it was honestly about his family.

We'd be nowhere near where we are today without his goals.

Mario has never said that he want to leave you daft cunt.

As already pointed out, Tevez was the captain, put in a transfer request, didn't show for our semi-final game, and had to be threatened with a fine to go on the cup winner's parade. Constantly tried to leave over the summer and gained some weight from being depressed. He good but never "10x" the player as Dzeko. I'm pretty sure Dzeko will finish his City career with more goals than Tevez, who I have no sympathy for.

it was honestly about his family

The same family that he cheated on his wife? And the same family that he said he was visiting, only to go on holiday on some island in the Atlantic? He also said it was honestly about "issues with upper management". Don't believe a word he says because you never know where it is coming from.

It is an honor to play for City now and if you act like a child you don't deserve the privilege.

I never said Mario wanted to leave. I was responding to him going on about 'strops'.

So what if he handed in a transfer request? He still gives 100% on the pitch. Even though he thought he was going he gave a brilliant performance in the cup final.

He was having treatment in Italy during the semi final.

He had given us a season and a halve great service and then brought nothing but turmoil ever since......Thats the fact of the matter.

I think he still has a huge part to play. Mancini will take the hardline with selection. He knows how good tevez is. Dzeko has been pretty much undroppable but a few bad games and he'll be benched I reckon
