A new website devoted to City's history

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to tell you about a website I launched today, which is the product of several years' research into the club's history.

I'm going to be putting a huge amount of new information online, and hopefully will be able to show that City have one of the most rich and vibrant histories in world football.

If you've got any comments / queries / gripes etc about the site I'll be be happy to answer them. I used to run Purely Man City and am a long-time lurker on here, so am pretty familiar with most of the names on here.

Ha ha! I've just been looking at my stats and someone from Mirror Group Newspapers has spent the last three hours at the site. No wonder their standards are slipping.

That newspaper is incredible and well reported, purelymancity was class and I'm sure this will be great as well.....

Fun place that occasionally breaks out into civil war (kinda like a cross between
Denmark and Rwanda). Mellowed a bit following the Sheikh's spending spree, and
now has more of a Charles Manson-on-Prozac feel to it.

No idea who the above refers to though!

Thanks. Just been chatting to Gary about City's early history and expect to have a few more conversations with him. I always think the more people that are involved in history the better, as debates are the best way to test the evidence.

One of the aims of my site is to encourage other fans to get involved in City's history, as there's a lot of research still waiting to be done.
