Thought Richards actually did well against Ribery, not helped at all by Kolo's mad run and Yaya's fucking laziness. Could be hyper critical of Joe to say he should have pushed one the shots further out sideways but that is ultra picky

^^agree

Yaya has been a slack bastard in most games so far. He was slow to get going each season so far. The amount of times he has not tried to get his foot or leg to block a player running through midfield or pass or ball towards the area is getting ridiculous.
The set up with Barry and Yaya is fine on paper, maybe both are a bit slow accelerating but both should be able to make up for that in saavy positioning and communication between the two of them.

Anyway it isn't working properly and they and others are getting dragged upfield without covering each other, basic stuff.

I like the fact that it looks like they are allowed to work it out for themselves.. ie given the freedom to move about, but the more they are allowed to do that the better the communication needs to be.

Bob needs to take action imo as DeJong coming back will just paper over this problem.

Average. But he's not a game changer. By the time he came on our team had all but given up.

joint award to the city fans............

Doubt you were able to hear us on TV due to a mixture of where we were 'put' - right up in the gods (worse than newcastle) with a lot of the older fans having to do the walk up in stages!! and also due to the PA system that BM use to drown out everything and gee up and amplify the home support - but it was a great effort all the same - they deserve more credit than the players (Joe excepted)

BTW with all the Tevez shit hitting the fan being at the Octoberfest yesterday which I lot of the fans were was a great way of avoiding it all - what a place - recommendation for anyone that gets a chance to go
