Me too mate, Hughes is available, would be nice to have him back, he knows how to handle Tevez.

He me be a shoe in for the Argentinian gymnastics team for the Olympics next year, amazing backflips!! Last night he wasn't ready mentally or physically, this morning he says he was warmed up and ready to go.

So not only does he treat the fans with contempt last night but today he obviously thinks we're blind, deaf and stupid too. Cheers Carlos!

Has no-one had a lipreader on the case yet? The papers and Sky would usually have that sort of thing in the bag in no time, although to be fair to sky they have been busy interviewing everyone in the world about Tevez today

Pathetic excuse. Pathetic man. City, please, give him a harsh statement of what it means to be a city player.

There's little argument thaqt Tevez has been a cunt.
However maybe he has been advised that being a cunt is the way to ensure he gets a move in Jan.
I would keep him on the bench till his contract runs out.
Keep him here and never play him for me would be the best way of punishing him.

If only it were that simple Raghater.

This is from FIFA rules regarding breach of contract.

Article 15 - Terminating a contract with sporting just cause

An established professional who has, in the course of the season, appeared in fewer than ten per cent of the official matches in which his club has been involved may terminate his contract prematurely on the ground of sporting just cause. Due consideration shall be given to the player's circumstances in the appraisal of such cases.

The existence of a sporting just cause shall be established on a case by- case basis. In such a case, sporting sanctions shall not be imposed, though compensation may be payable. A professional may only terminate his contract on this basis in the 15 days following the last official match of the season of the club with which he is registered.

Only a question because I didn't know that rule.If we put him on the bench but do not play him does that not count as him being involved?

Just suppose Tevez was indeed ready to play, and Mancini is being economical with the truth.
Where would that leave us?

It would leave us fucked.

But I dint believe Mancini is being economical with the truth, I had my suspicions until I read quote from Zaba saying that Carlos didn't want to play.

Not possible when tevez has already admitted his "head wasn't right". That right there is an admission that he was asked to come on.

They can put whatever spin on this that they want....Tevez is fucking guilty of REFUSING to come on.

I think the Sheik will tell the TROLL that he will stay in the reserves and will be sold to whoever in January.

At the very least I rekon Carl. Wasn't it the personal intervention by Khaldoon that persuaded Fatso that City would help resolve his 'problems' a bit of a slap in the face i would say this is then. I wouldn't want to be on the wrong side of the Owners people after they have been so magnanimous. Death might seem attractive etc etc...

The most important issue for the sheik here is the fact that all and sundry from across the globe will SUPPORT the club if we sack him or shift him in the reserves (although the latter maybe contractually impossible to enforce).......this is a win win for him imo...maybe not financially, but lets be honest here, if its a choice between gaining respect from across the globe towards his club or losing 40 million..would he really give a fuck about the money?...I somehow feel he wouldn't !

That was my point in another thread, we could come out of this smelling of roses. It may cost a little but how many people globally will be looking at City and thinking, 'I like the cut of their cloth?'.

Priceless.

Think how much he is supposed to be paid per week, compared to how many seasons are left on his contract - that's what the club will 'make' by tearing up his contract assuming we have the grounds to do so.
