I alwyas keep faith on Bobby Manc expecially for his way of treating our rich footballers. If Tevez saga would end definitively sky will come back bright on Eastlands and glory shall be nearer for our beloved club! CTWD and obviously ... FORZA MANCIO!!!
From Torino, Italia to Manchester, Lancashire this City is always our City!

I see. Because we've had some little twat fuck up our week then we're not allowed to talk anything other than him and give the manager a great big pat on the back?

Myself, and I think it was Ted were talking about rotation and in particular Yaya Toure. Is that not talking football or are we just aimlessly lambasting the manager?

Fuck sake, get over it. Tevez has made his bed now, we need to get back to what we do on here which is talk all things shit and all things great. Mancini falls somewhere within those parameters and is not above a decent chat. Who do you think we are, United fans?

oh i see.. and here's me thinking that you were looking for a scapegoat blaming Mancini for Yaya's inability to play more than 30 mins football, but you have set me straight now and i've stopped laughing.

Tut tut tut, must do better. Mancini is not above the law of supporters, whilst Yaya is not above the law of physiology. He's just too fucking big.

Why so?

a) Winning the Europa Cup would boost our UEFA co-eficients so, just maybe, next time we get into the Chumps League we won't end up in the group of death.

and b) Refusing to take the Europa Cup seriously is just the kind of thing we would have lambasted the rags for not so very long ago.

- like ' LAST FUCKING SEASON not so long ago '

Jesus wept !

Sorry for throwing a few out there but just running through NewsNow. Did this really happen or just another Mirror fabrication; Jia even?

Furious Roberto Mancini swore at Carlos Tevez after the Manchester City striker refused to play against Bayern Munich.

Mancini is alleged to have told Tevez he could “f***off back to Argentina” after the former City skipper defied his boss by refusing to come off the bench in Tuesday's Champions League group game.

City boss Mancini is also understood to have directed a similar volley of abuse at Edin Dzeko, telling him to “f*** off back to Bosnia,” after he reacted angrily to being subbed in the 2-0 defeat.

Mancini's just had his presser shown on SSN where they were told not too ask questions regarding Tevez. He looked really relaxed with a smiling face. He was asked if he was upset after the game which he replied that he was upset because we lost and that we should've had 2 penalty's, and the score wasn't helped by the loss of key midfielder's. Mentioned about it being a bit more difficult after a CL game as we seen at Fulham.

Nothing of real news but was asked if things have been sorted, referring to Tevez but he just said it is finished, repeating it a couple of times before saying we are concentrating on the League, CL and FA Cup.

Headlines tomorrow: Mancini doesn't care about the League Cup!

I'm backing Bob 100% over Tevez & over his position to stay on & be supported as our manager but he made a right royal fucking mess of Tuesday night, with his team selection, tactics & substitutions. Having seen a rerun of the game, there was no sudden reason to bring on DeJong; Bayern hadn't increased pressure at all in that period. Dzeko was miles better than Aguero, who was fucking shite & should have been the one swapped for Tevez. Substitutions are one tiny thing though; the horse had bolted.

The selection of Kolo Toure ranked alongside the Boyata/Boateng selections v Arsenal last season (both are now out of the squad) as some of the shittyest, random, whimsical, stupid, fucking ridiculous bits of management I've ever seen; giving the team a new player & an extra problem to solve with a match starved player on the biggest night in our history. Absolutely fucking beyond belief.

A match hardened defender would have blocked Ribery's shot after Kolo's equally dozy brother allowed him to cut inside. His reactions were those of a player who isn't up to match sharpness.

That's a bit too harsh for my liking Ted, although i tend to go with players showing responsibility rather than blaming managers for stuff on the pitch. Managers i blame for not turning it around over time, not particularly the details of one game.
Agree that bringing Toure in was unecessary, although tbh it should not make so much difference imo.

The bit i think you are not getting are the subs, how you can say we didn't need midfield strengthening i dont know, we were all over the shop. When Nige came on, Sky comm couldn't understand it. I turned to my mate and said that Tevez would be on in 5 and that Bob was shoring up the midfield first. To me that was obvious seeing Bob having done the same sort of thing this season already.
Agree though that between the two frontmen there was little to call and i'd have left Dzeko on, mainly due to keeping some height on the pitch tbh. If he had known that Fatso wasn't going to come on he would not have subbed Dzeko.
The action to regain some fight in midfield and then on the back of that try and give them problems with Tevez is sound imo, it is the right way round.

The criticism I have of Mancini is more to do with player performances and selection based on that. We have an alarming tendency to leave the defending to the defenders, shirk responsibility higher up the pitch and basically not put a shift in. In addition we seem incapable of reading the the game and being aware of when the oppo is gaining effectivness and responding. I haven't seen City respond in upping the tempo once this season. How many times we need to put games in jeopardy to learn this I dont know, Once is enough for me and imo Bob has failed to address this. Looks to me like he is giving some players a chance to get it right, Aguero, Nasri being the obvious.
We look like we are expecting games to be easy and are just all about us getting the goals, that is fucked up and we have been and will be punished for it until Mancini sorts it out.

The Fulham game tells us everything we need to know about this team at the moment, imo 3 or 4 of the players in that game need to be 're-educated' until they can come on the field and play a role responsibly for 90 mins against any opposition however lowly, minor or not worthy.

Ribery put in a world class performance against us its not that much of a shock he managed to beat a player and get a shot off.He probably would have done it to a match hardened defender let alone Kolo's dozy brother who mainly doesn't play as a defender.Bayen had 24 shots that night, how come they were not blocked? Was Yaya supposed to block all of them whilst playing in midfield.

As near as dammit yes. How do you think that you go about beating good teams ?

Ribery only had a good game after our midfield started to go awol, prior to that he looked ok but nothing special and not getting anywhere v Micah.

Bob always makes his changes that way unless he has his hand forced through injury. First sub around 60-70 mins, second sub roughly 10 mins later, final sub held in reserve until the last few mins. I can't remember him making a double sub at the same time (unless he's had to through injury, maybe). I think his reasoning is to change one thing at a time, let it settle, then change the next thing.

As I said, I see the substitutions as a minor thing as we were 2 down away from home v Bayern Munich & basically; FUCKED.

If we're nit picking though; if Dejong was coming on, it should have been for Aguero, who couldn't trap a bag of cement on Tuesday. The timing of that substitution was however nonsense. We were getting battered much more 20 mins earlier. He waits for a spell in the game where fuck all has happened at either end for ten mins THEN brings on a def midfielder ? Plot lost.

By far the worst thing was playing Kolo Toure in the 1st place though. If he was going to play, DeJong or Milner should have started to give him extra cover. At one stage he went gambling up the fucking pitch, when Micah was already up there & left Gareth Barry (that's GARETH BARRY the same bloke hung out to dry by England v Germany) 1 v 1 v Ribery at the halfway line. Of course we lost the ball & Barry got fucking skinned. Utter fucking amateur hour from players & manager combined.
