Van Persie

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Van Persie

Postby carl_feedthegoat » Fri Sep 30, 2011 4:03 pm

I would like to, at least hope, that the rumours of us being interested in him is complete bullshit.

Hes a slimy little cunt of the highest....exchanging one Turd for a similar turd is not what I want to see.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

I'm sure it's just a case of the press putting two and two together and coming up with five. He'll have a year left on his contract I think soonish, so with the Gael and Samir situation I think it's just lazy journalism to be honest.

Most likely if anyone it'll be that slag that scored against us for Naps.

This. I never want to see this piece of shit wearing a City shirt.

I reckon come Jan we will be in such a strong position we will be able to pick and choose who we sign...

I think he will leave before signing a new contract and he is a world class striker imo.
i just dont think City can accommodate another big name striker in our stable.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

Didn't Van Persie had a fight with Kolo when they were at Arse and after that Wenger took his captain armband?
I would rather have Kagawa or Honda, players that are known for their professionalism and that are really good + the marketing move would be fantastic.

To be honest, I'm not sure I want us buying any more players from Arsenal. We have overpaid them for too many players recently.

Kolo at £16m was massively overpriced and his best days are long behind him.

Adebayor at £25m, even though I think he is a good player, has been a waste of money.

Clichy at £7m is looking like a steal definitely.

But Nasri so far looks massively overpriced at £25m. Apart from the Spurs game, he's been pretty useless. Obviously I'm not writing him off yet and will give him the full season to prove his worth.

However, can we just look elsewhere for players now. Van Persie is a very good player but our track record of buying from Arsenal is shaky to say the least.

Apart from Wayne Rooney and Karl Henry, there is no one I would hate more seeing in a City shirt than van Pussy.

If there's one club we shouldn't fear giving money to it's Arsenal!

I've often declared my love for RvP on this very board but this story is a total fabrication. Things will change a lot in the next 3 months.

Carl - think you have nothing to worry about on this one.

this (IMO) is either:

a) lazy journos being more lazy than normal, or

b) someone close to RVP putting something out - 'cos I bet the arrogant twat would just luuuvvvv for such a situation.

He is stalling on his renewal of contract probably just hoping to get the same situation as Nasri next summer when he will be into the last year - and I am sure there is one club that he would hope tocome calling before any other - and do yer know...... he can fuck off - we do not need him - amd more relevant - I cannot see Mancini being interested in someone of his profile

Don't talk through your arse. We've tapped him up and offered 300 grand a week. What else for someone who can throw the 'V's up to our fans.

Nasri looks like a typical Arsenal player. Looks great when the team is playing well and you're winning but when the going gets tough he goes awol.

LOL - what chance some lazy journo reads your words and the "We've tapped him up and offered 300 grand a week" bit is a main headline tomorrow 'from sources close to the club............'

Personally, I've been quite happy with his performances considering he's a newbie. Seems that the Arse fans have set an agenda that people without their own view will jump on.

And before you jump down my throat, how long as he been here again?
