Welcome to a new Italian striker: n. 45, Mario Ba-lo-tel-li!!! Today it's the 1st time I watch him playing football, am I the only one here?
From Torino, Italia to Manchester, Lancashire this City is always our City!

I'm very happy with that, especially as it was still 0-0 when I got in and checked the latest scores.

talk about all about opinions. This is a post elsewhere about Yaya:

Took Silva until the second half to get going but that he did. Nasri was brilliant as was Balo, but i was impressed with Yaya the most, did a kind of de Jong role today lol, kept the ball in midfield with sensible passes, good distribution i thought

They were supposed to follow the bear. (Or was that Hoffmeister?)

was a bit of sarcasm about everyone constantly taking a dig at the one player who is always picked in our team (especially when we're top of the league). oh well

Good performance in general, still looked like we wanted BB to score a consolation at the end.. helped them as much as we could it seemed.. shows you really how shite they are.

And we are top of the league without being seen to be... waiting in the shadow and ducking the pressure of being top.. waiting for the right time to really step it up. We will get better stronger and faster as the season goes on, the rags are about as good as they are going to get.

Have to mention Mario today.. that is the best team performance he has put in, keep doing that and we have a player.

Given all the stick that goes his way it wasnt easy to spot.Thing is the opinion does seem divided today anyway. For me I thought he was fine and held his position better than in other games

I agree with that Doug. Yaya played several raking long forward passes too, which were amazing. He was deeper lying and looked in total control to me.

Last game wasn't his best, but the whole team played poorly. But as he said after the Munich game, we win or lose as a team not individuals.

Today (as with most days) I though he was great. A rock in the middle and links up the team so well. Theres a reason he plays more than any other outfield player and its because hes class. The fact that me saying we should suspend him is even taken seriously is scary

Thought his midfield partner did very well and Zabs was outstanding early and then seemed to lose it a little.

Funniest moment has to be Zabs throwing the ball in to a Blackburn player and then hacking him down a second later.

We played well and a win was never ever in doubt....special praise for Kolorov who had an excellent game..

Blackburn were fucking dire.

Mario is starting to look as if he's finally realising he's at a proper club & is ready to do his job. I don't want to get too excited yet but it's difficult not to.

This is why I was moaning about goal difference. They could be even worse a month from now.

Great news
I replaced Dzeko with him in my FF team last night
I had a feeling with the way he scored in the Carling Cup game that he had accepted his punishment, and knuckled down and, then again, his bear-hug of Mancini confirmed this.

Thought he played good as well. He's one of those players that messes up 50% of the time, but when he gets it right he has the ability to do something special. Was solid all round and won the corner for the Savic goal after some good footwork

risky move but im sure it paid off for you.

Balotelli played outstanding in the 2nd half.
