Public perception is everything with our owners.
IMO he will receive an extended suspension, then be sold in Jan. to higgest bidder. Possibly PSG, Corinthians or Inter.

They would not even begin the process of trying unless there was absolutely cast-iron proof that there was a refusal to play - not an opinion or strong belief etc. We all know the truth but it is a question of what can be proven beyond all reasonable doubt - and therein lies our difficulty - the twat and his team are likely going to milk us for a bundle.

Why is Tevez saying on TV: 'I didn't feel mentally & physically ready to play, so I told the manager' not considered sufficient proof ? If he confessed to a murder on TV, he'd be prosecuted.

I keep mentioning this & people just go on as if it never happened; it did, even the BBC mentioned his SKY interview in their report.

I have not seen it so do not know the specifics but from what you say it does not sound cast iron. We would make a mistake if we sacked him or similar and left ourselves open to a position where we could be successfully sued - that would be a circus for months and we would be in the press for all the wrong reasons etc etc

You can see what is going on since kia-twat has managed to get a grip of him from the following morning - a campaign of "......I never said - misunderstanding - poorly translated questions etc etc" and most worringly "...I was only saying no to warming up as I had already done so and was ready to go on.........."- this is seeking to make things less than certain - and any reasonable doubt would see us in the wrong

I just hope some players are willing to be categoric in their evidence but I am doubtful............

We need something cast-iron - and I am not sure that the interview you mention is that - hope so

Also - what about procedures of issuing warnings - in writing etc. The Mancini comments are also a concern - they seem clear and categoric - there could be the basis of 'constructive dismissal claims' etc - it is seriously annoying but if I was a betting man (which I am) my money would be on Tevez coming out of this with money and a move at a reduced fee and therefore with more money as he signs on elsewhere

That interview came AFTER the manager had said he'd refused to play. Tevez says the same in the post game interview so we have Bob, Tevez & the City staff all saying he wouldn't play. Then suddenly; it's all a misunderstanding & he was willing to play, after speaking to his reps. Is anyone really going to fall for that ?

If it was a murder case, he'd be prosecuted & the jury wouldn't believe him.

Well Ted all my hopes and wishes are with you on this - I hope that it is deemed enough to be proof against any legal challenge and then we hang him out to dry to the biggest extent possible

I just worry that with all the issues with employment law and issues of restraints of trade it will not work out that way - but I hope I am wrong

In the past I have heard all sorts of wishful thinking (IMO) about use of law to refute FFPR etc but on this particular issue I am concerned that the law will be relevant and not help

Whatever the public outcome on this, be sure KIA will within 12 months be finished the world over, in not just football. You do not cross someone like our owner in such a dirty way....

In some ways I am glad the mongrel that is the former 32 shirt has done what he has done. The world of football appears to be behind us, not really a scandal for us. Just damning for the player and his "crew"?

As someone said earlier he is finished in Europe if not the world. Real sorry for him? Do I fuck he has earnt more in one year than 99.99% of us will in a life time. I have kind of accepted the obscene amounts players earn but for trying to get more than he is currently on is plain sickening.

if we can take him for every penny of cash in the he has left, he will still be better of than the majority of us.

Oops sorry, the prediction.... worst case we get £20+M from Corinthians in January, in the interim he gets sent Abu Dhabi (sp) to train with our "sister" club owned by the sheikh

Best case: we sack him, fifa ban the fuck out of him for the rest his current contract or even longer and we sue the fuck out of him for loss of earnings and fifa give dispensation to us on the ffrp. KIA banned from being anything to do with beautiful game for life to boot (excusing the pun)

And relax :)

He isn't finished anywhere unless we sack him & get him banned though. They are queueing up to offer him jobs. I guarantee you, as soon as he is available, they'll all be in for him, Europe & South America; everywhere. Not one single club has ruled themselves out of signing Tevez. Most of the Prem would have him in a heartbeat if they could afford him.

Unless we stitch him up, he & Kia will be laughing their cocks off at us for the next 5 years.

See:

GIANFRANCO Zola has told Juventus - snap up Carlos Tevez.

The Chelsea legend reckons the Italian giants should splash the cash to sign the Manchester City want-away striker.

Juventus are top of Serie A this season, however question marks still remain weather or not they can compete with Napoli, Inter Milan and AC Milan in the long run.

He said: "I like what Conte (Juve head coach) has done at Juventus. He's a tough guy and with Tevez (they would be even tougher)."

Tevez has become a reviled figure in English football following his refusal to play for Manchester City in last month’s Champions League defeat at Bayern Munich.

The 27-year-old has been suspended for two weeks by City pending an investigation into his behaviour.

Boss Roberto Mancini insists Tevez is finished at the big spenders and the club are expected to announce their next move before the end of this week.

It remains to be seen if Juventus can afford Tevez’s £250,000-a-week wages, for Tevez.

Zola is a top pro but even he will be happy to sign the weasel.

So besides the huge wages he would get, surely Makhachkala could be a form of exile for Tevez. From wikitravel:

WARNING: Travel to Makhachkala is extremely dangerous and strongly discouraged. The presence of rebels and widespread criminality is highly active in the city, sharing a similar crime rate to Grozny and Magas.

They could afford to give us a big transfer fee and Carlos can fuck off to a remote part of russia. Win-win I'd say
