Always keen to see City's history promoted, debated and thoroughly researched. The whole reason I started writing about the Blues in 1987 (first book 1989) was because there was nowhere near enough material on the Blues out there.
I love seeing attempts made at developing understanding of City's history. I always want writers/researchers to get back to first hand evidence and accounts where possible because so much writing on City is, sadly, based on some of the myths that have developed over the years. That's no different to United and most other teams, but some of our myths have focused on negatives rather than positives.
I think we should all do what we can to promote and encourage a greater understanding of our history - hence the Academy sessions. The latest of which now appears on the official site.
