Missing Manchester, Carlos? Tevez soaks up sun on Argentine golf course
Pictures of Carlos Tevez in Argentina show that he seems to be coping just fine with the disgrace of his suspension from Manchester City.

Carlos Tevez looks happier than ever as he strolls with his wife on a golf course in Argentina
As his teammates endured the plummeting temperatures in Manchester, the controversial striker was off enjoying the sun on a golf course in Argentina.
The Argentine seemed not to have a care in the world as he strolled in the sun with his wife Vanessa (and a cuddly golf club headcover) in the plush resort of Mar del Plata in Buenos Aires.
Tevez is currently serving a two-week suspension pending a club investigation into allegations he refused City manager Roberto Mancini’s instructions to play during a recent Champions League defeat at Bayern Munich.
The Argentine has scored 53 goals during his two years at the Etihad Stadium, but his apparent refusal to take to the field in Munich has incensed the club and its fans.
Speaking after the match, Mancini said the former Manchester United and West Ham striker would never play for the side again.
City are apparently looking to offload Tevez in January and may be willing to sell him for a fraction of what he is worth.

Real Madrid to offer Tevez an escape from City nightmare
Real Madrid are ready to offer Carlos Tevez an escape from his Manchester City nightmare.
The Spanish club are understood to want Tevez, whose City career is effectively over following his alleged refusal to play against Bayern Munich in the Champions League last month.
City will this week announce what action they intend to take against him following an internal investigation into the striker’s Munich mutiny.
Tevez, whose two-week suspension ends on Thursday and who is back home in Buenos Aires, is wanted by Real boss Jose Mourinho. But a potential January deal could be scuppered by the size of the fee and the former City skipper’s wage demands.
City want at least £35million for Tevez, but the striker will have to overcome the stumbling block of Real being unwilling to meet his wage demands of £250,000-a-week. Cristiano Ronaldo is Real’s top earner on £200,000-a-week. MIRROR

Real Madrid can have Tevez, but Manchester City want Di Maria
Following recent reports suggesting that Spanish giants Real Madrid are preparing a player plus cash offer for Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez, it is now believed that City would prefer to take winger Angel Di Maria rather than Sami Khedira.
Carlos Tevez’s career at Eastlands is deemed to be over following the shocking scenes that occurred in their defeat against Bayern Munich, in which the Argentine refused to warm-up when requested to by boss Roberto Mancini. This has resulted in Mancini claiming that the 27-year-old is now “finished” at City, alerting many of Europe’s elite clubs.
Despite their high number of attacking midfield players, Manchester City believe that Tevez’s fellow countryman Di Maria would be a more suitable player to boost Madrid’s transfer bid for last season’s joint Premier League top goal scorer. Di Maria moved to the Bernabeu in July 2010 for a fee around €25 million and has since then been a regular in Jose Mourinho’s side, making over 50 appearances in that time.
However, similarly to City, Madrid also do not lack in attacking midfield players, with stars like Cristiano Ronaldo, Mesut Ozil and Kaka on their books, which could allow them to let the 23-year-old leave the club in order to bring in one of the most well-known strikers.
It looked likely that Tevez would leave the Etihad stadium this summer following his transfer request and desire to move out of England for family reasons. Although since then the striker had said that his family were now settled in England and he was happy to stay in Manchester. But his latest antics have outraged both Mancini and City fans, whom both have made no secret about their wishes for him to leave the club, despite him scoring 43 league goals over the past two campaigns.
Manchester City are thought to value Tevez at £40million and would favour Madrid to include Di Maria in the deal instead of Sami Khedira if a player was to be included in the bid. Footybunker

Two different players

The one Arsenal are after is 16 years old box-to-box midfielder, he was chosen the best player in the last U17 club world cup in Madrid, his name is José Rodríguez. This kid is extremely talented allrounder and is one of Mourinho's favourites.

The one you talk about is Jesé Rodríguez, a tricky 18 years old forward who play for Real Madrid Castilla

http://www.realmadrid.com/cs/Satellite/ ... r/Jese.htm

The one City are after is José Ángel Pozo, 15 years old who was chosen the best forward in the U17 club world cup in Madrid. For me personally, having seen him quite often and playing against older opponents including big, strong African defenders, I think of the three he is the one that will go on to become a world beater. He reminds me quite a lot of Michael Owen. The other two are quality prospects too.

Manchester City FC agrees content deal with YouTube B*ll*x
Manchester City FC has become the first Premier League Club to sign a content deal with YouTube.
The deal will allow the club to control its right-owned, or club created videos, as well as manage advertising around its content.
The Manchester City TV channel, CityTV, currently uploads around 100 videos a month by its in-house production team.

Richard Ayers, head of Digital, for Manchester City, said:“Manchester City is having a phenomenal year of growth and development online. Our goal is to deliver a market leading experience for fans in terms of online video. That means delivering the great content we make to where the audience is – ie on YouTube. This deal is the first move in laying the foundations of our syndication strategy and is part of a series of deals to expand our online capabilities.

“The ability to extend our reach and to increase accessibility to audiences is great, but we’re also looking forward to exploring the differentiating factors of YouTube, like using annotations, making bespoke interactive video and, more than anything else, becoming part of the thriving YouTube community.”

Jeff Nathenson, head of sports partnerships for YouTube, said: "We are excited that Manchester City has become the first English Premier League club to become a commercial partner with YouTube. They are proving to be an exciting club both on the pitch and in the digital media space. We believe this kind of deal will have a global impact, allowing them to reach new fans in new territories with compelling original content."

I reckon this tells us quite a bit about our owners way of thinking

We arent trying to squeeze every drop of revenue out of our product, we are trying to allow everyone who wants some to get some - rather like

We still want Tevez! Corinthians director of football Edu ups the ante
Corinthians director of football Edu claims the Brazilian club are still interested in signing controversial Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez.
Image
Corinthians failed in an attempt to buy the wantaway Argentina international in the summer and Edu last week said they would not been renewing their interest.
The former Arsenal midfielder told BBC Sport: 'At the moment there are no plans to try and sign him again.'
However, Edu has now suggested the Brazilians could be back in the reckoning to re-sign their former player, who is currently suspended by City pending an investigation into an alleged refusal to play as a substitute.
Edu told Sky Sports News: 'It was quite difficult to sign him because at the time it was shortly before our transfer window.
'Now we are here [in England] and we will talk and see what the situation is and we will look to sign him in the summer.
'I will talk to the president - we offered £40million and now the money we had we have spent some of as that is football.
'We want to see how Tevez is and what his situation is, we will see if we can do a deal - he is very famous in Brazil and everyone loves him, and the fans want him.'
Edu, who played for Arsenal between 2001-05, was back in London last week for the Leaders in Football conference at Stamford Bridge.
While there he did meet with Tevez's advisor Kia Joorabchian but the pair did not speak specifically about the player.
Edu said: 'I spoke to him at the congress, but...not really about Tevez yet.
'We are quite friendly and have a good relationship, but not about Tevez yet.
'It is a lot of things to think about. Carlos Tevez has a lot of things around him.'
Tevez, 27, is due back at City this week after being suspended the day after the club's Champions League defeat at Bayern Munich on September 27.
Manager Roberto Mancini claimed the player refused to come off the bench to play when asked in the second half. He added that Tevez was "finished" at City as a result of the incident.
City are conducting an investigation into the events at the Allianz Arena but are yet to report their findings.

Mancini eyes Ibrahimovic
Manchester City have been linked to AC Milan's Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Real Madrid schoolboy Jose Angel Pozo today.
Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport claims City are ready to join the race for Ibrahimovic in the wake of the Carlos Tevez saga, but face competition for the Swede's signature from Real Madrid and Anzhi Makhachkala.
While Tevez is mentioned as a potential makeweight in any deal, they also throw in the name of ex-Inter striker Mario Balotelli for good measure.
It is also reported that City are among an elite Premier League trio ready to lure talented 15-year-old Spaniard Jose Angel Pozo from within the Real Madrid youth ranks.
City, Chelsea and Arsenal are understood to be willing to offer just under £750,000 for the rights to the player - a small price if Pozo turns out to be a player like Cesc Fabregas, who left Barcelona as a schoolboy and rejoined them years later for over £30million.

Top TEN players whose talent has been wasted by England
The English national side has been run for years on reputation, as a result, there are those seemingly more talented and worthy of a first-team spot that have fallen by the wayside. To put the list into some perspective, here are a few shocking statistics for you – Phil Neville (59 caps), Emile Heskey (61 caps), Kieron Dyer (31 caps), Shaun Wright Phillips (36 caps), Carlton Palmer (18 caps), Danny Mills (19 caps) – It’s enough to give you a sleepless night when you compare their tallies to the ones mentioned here.
