I think he will demand a raise and refuse to play.

Good show from the jocks in Alicante - nearly all of them were wearing kilts round town - fuclin hilarious - never seen more than about 3 kilts in my life. Nice they got a goal anyway for their excellent support. Well done!

The City squad have put in some good performances this international break, non more so than Silva with 2 MoM's (2 assists v. Czech. Rep. and 2 goals plus 1 assist v. Scotland). Tonight Dzecko scored outstanding curler against France (MoM) with Nasri equalising from penalty spot late on. Yaya and Kolo both scored for Ivory Coast the other night. Kompany was best player for Belgium against a strong German side. Hart had a good performance for England. I just hope the squad is not too tired for a hard match against an unbeaten Aston Villa side in PL on Sat.

He tried to do Fletcher as well. Love it. Glad we're going into the Derby with the majority of our attackers on form. Should be full of it after this international break.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

I thought the 3rd German goal from Gomez was embarrassing for a reputable defender, just watching the ball with no clue of the forward's positions or movement. Very very poor defending. Worrying imo.

I loved seeing on the BBC how dunneys goal was 'bundled' over the line. Classic Dunne! :)

It was his usual own goal but at the right end for once.

Does anyone know if the Silva show is being repeated on any TV channels today ? I missed it whilst watching France/Bosnia.

Fair comment he bears some responsibility for the last goal. However overall he got the highest Belgium player rating in both The Guardian and on Goal ,comment for his rating on latter was:
"Will be very disappointed his team conceded three goals: the captain had an excellent performance overall, and was only (and minimally) involved in one of the strikes against his side. Rock-solid in the challenge, and made one particularly stunning stop of Schurrle in the early stag"
The Germans together with Spain are the "in form team" and potential European Champions. At the end of the day its a team performance and it can be like trying to stop a tidal wave when they attack.

Fair enough if his overall performance has impressed people but I'm just looking at Vinny being dumped on by one of our CL opponents again. Our whole team, imo, has defended poorly in the Chump's Lg & if we don't sort it very quickly, we're out; even next week. That 3rd goal doesn't fill me with confidence, that's all.

The thing is although our David has been awesome so has Fabregas.
I'm glad I don't have to pick.
Spain's midfield is well there are not any words for it.

I was shocked when I saw his name on the score sheet and it wasnt an own goal.

If he continues to develop his goal scoring ability we'll have a player as good as anyone- bar Messi.

I know exactly who I'd pick. With the choice of Silva, the gutless cunt Fabregas wouldn't get anywhere near my team

So why is Fabreags a 'gutless cunt'? For picking Barca over Arsenal?
