At least we have some game changers on the bench - very worried we aren't starting Dave though.

im a bit worried about this match..especially with the side selection. Dzeko, Silva, and Nasri on the bench...
glad that we're resting Silva ahead of the next week but resting all 3 of those at once is going to be interesting...
granted, we do have two big matches coming up but look what happened to Utd. today when they rested/dropped players.

This match became much more challenging in my opinion.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

There has been plenty of talk about who has the best squad around and this will an interesting test to see how we fare in a game missing arguably our 4 best attacking players ( it would have been 5!) The scum rested 3 of theirs and got a good draw away at the dippers. We should beat Villa anyway but will need to play very well against an unbeaten side so far this season.

An early goal I am sure would help but I feel the key is to keep a clean sheet and be patient so that an 85th minute goal will be a winner.

At least Yaya can get forward with Nige in the team - he really needs to be at his best if there's no Silva though. This is not an occasion for him to go missing.

I think he should have started Nasri, since he was resting Silva: Nasri was buzzing for France in midweek and it would have been the perfect opportunity to show what he could do with having Silva to fall back on.

Very worried about this game. Villa are not bad, and we lack creativity. We've started quit poorly as well.
