Only just heard about this (being completely behind the times as usual). Don't know how badly the Smackhead was injured but hope it was nothing trivial.

Mind you, he could have done us all a favour and killed himself outright.

Ill take my chances and wear one, although the sort of accidents i might have in a diesel Mazda 2, are PROBABLY quite different than a Ferrari or Mecedes Armoured Personnel Carrier.

If I was in a crash I know I would rather rely on a seatbelt than bravado and testosterone.

I feel uneasy if I'm not wearing a seatbelt when in a car with most of the fucking nutters I know. Never used to bother me back in the days when I never ever put it on. Strange. If I was in a car with Paul Meson I'd want an outfit like the Michelin man (and a pair of ear plugs).
