So Leanne, you leave early to avoid the rush? It seems to me that the rush is with 5 minutes to go. If you stay till the end you'll be fine as everyone else will have gone.

It does my head in, I don't understand it. Most importantly, it's really REALLY embarrassing.

Others don't?? Have the fans who leave early taken a survey on the way out or something? How the fuck do we know that 'others' don't have a reason? I know that there is a group of City fans from London who sit behind us, and they have done since COMS opened, they leave around the 80-85th minute to travel home.

I don't see what the big deal is. I've followed City through the second division, at a time when I was a young kid who could quite easily have had my head turned to the dark side, and back up and back down and back up again etc. I pay for my season ticket every year, so if one day I want to leave the match 10 minutes early because I've got something planned previously/I need to get somewhere asap/the dogs shit everywhere in the house then I will do!

People who leave early, on the whole, are just leaving early because they want to, not because they have to get to their sick grandmother or catch a flight to fucking Zimbabwe in 25 mins; they're just trying to beat the traffic. Enough with the sanctimonious bullshit.

Stay to the end and applaud your team off, win lose or draw for fuck sake. I have a plane to catch to get to the match and back but my arse doesn't leave the seat until after the final whistle.

Makes my fckin blood boil and is pure ignorance in my opinion

I'd love for some of you guys who think it's 'such a disgrace' to leave early to say something at the time to whoever is leaving.
Probably just sit there boiling over until the people are down the tunnel before starting your rant.

Actually, I'm tempted to leave early for the next match and see if anyone says anything to me. I very much doubt it.

If you're anywhere near Block 109 you will probably hear me as you pass the back row (unless I'm too busy supporting my team and watching the match to notice you).

My pal was asking everyone yesterday why they were leaving early.
Was funny seeing everyone's face nobody kicked off back they just looked bemused at why he was asking and if leaving early was the normal thing to do.

What would be the point in that ? Get involved in a fucking fight & lose your seasoon ticket as well as having to stand up sit down stand up sit down for a bunch of fuckers who can't be arsed clapping their team off the pitch as it goes top of the league ?

Brilliant idea.

Personally I am not having a go at anyone particular, I am sure many people have reasons to leave early and thats fine. It is the numbers leaving early though, I could be wrong, but Eastlands at the final whistle always looks far emptier than any other stadium, obviously with the exception of teams like Wigan. At other grounds you get people leaving before the end, but we have it in such ridiculous numbers, that is what I don't understand.

It's hard not to notice when there are hundreds or people making their way up each stairway.

I wonder if the players noticed it too, I imagine they did.
