Lescott's good player but it's area where I feel we will still strengthen over the next two transfer windows. I reckon Kolo is offski at some stage. Just a gut feeling.

i don't think Kolo is off. I think he'll get some games and play with his brother for a few seasons then hang it up or go coach the Ivory Coast team or something. i can't see him going to play at Fulham or something for 3 more years after he's done with us...doesn't seem like he'd be that motivated to play for a team that can't win anything. just a gut feeling. And btw my gut is bigger than yours, so...

i didn't. I voted lescott because i think he's the best for the position right now, despite some errors or clumsiness. He's done way way more good than harm this season imho. I'm glad we've got Kolo, Savic, and even Micah who can step in and play CB if we need it though.

i think we're setup okay, and these guys will only get better together.

i agree with this and went for keeping Lescott and Kompany together.

I would at some stage like to see young Boyata brought back from loan and given a chance. Aside from his impetuous moment against Arsenal he looked a good, composed, footballing centre back to me. Don't rate him at all as a full back mind you.

I didn`t rate him when he was at everton, and dont think much about him now other than he is our weak point, he gets caught under the ball more often than not, a f*cking liabillity in the box because his tackling aint up to much, and far to easy to go passed if dragged wide ( Another bad habit he has is getting dragged out of position ).

I voted for Boyata because I think he is good enough to grow into the role, and while I can see why Roberto has loaned him out to get more experiance think that raw as he still is he would do a far better job than Lescott.

I do expect Roberto to go for another central defender in the next transfer window, however we still have Nedum on the books and I would like to see him maybe get a chance of a few games because I think he is good enought to change Roberto`s mind on his future.

I've had to hold my hands up and admit that I slated the Lescott transfer.
Couldn't understand why we were selling Dunne to get a two year younger model that wasn't as good, only he had one season for scoring goals for his team, rather than against them.

Every time he played in the City blue, I wanted him to do well but he didn't perform. Thought he was a joke and a waste of money.

How wrong I turned out to be! Second half of last season I really changed my mind about him, thought his performances improved.
Am glad I was wrong as I never want to see a City player fail.

Actually Lescott made a near carbon copy mistake on the right as he did the other week and we were lucky enough that kompany was on hand to clear the ball away to Hart otherwise the player would have been one on one with the keeper again..I don't know if anyone else noticed this....I did..as I'm like fucking Cyclops watching Lescott s every bastid move and I shouted at the telly...I did you know.

Joeleen for me. Perfect foil for Vince, a ball player and a hoofer. Seems to be working again this season with our only real blip coming when Kolo came back and Vince was moved to the left.
