swap balotelli for barry and i think you might be right :)[/quote

Barry upfront would be a big mistake ;-)

Richards Kompany Lescott Clichy
Barry de Jong
Aguero Milner Silva
Dzeko

Balotelli to come on after an hour if dzeko is struggling. Cannot see Bobby risking Balo from the off in a match like this to be honest.

No yaya, after his history with them?

At the moment i feel more comfortable with Barry in the side, and Kun has to play. Milner is the dogs b`s so that just leaves Nige to be dropped, and its at the swamp...difficult I know..but..

Balo and yaya must start for me, dropping Balo could be detrimental to is confidence. He's on fire ATM.

I think thats where we are with dzeko now after the start he had. Could be bold and go 4-3-3. That would be kitchen sink.

Richards Kompany Lescott Clichy
Barry de Jong
Silva
Aguero Dzeko Balo

He`d never do it but it would use full backs properly

Can't believe anyone wouldn't put Milner in their starting line up.

Would not get a sniff in my favoured first eleven either but their is a time and a place for every player.

On form he sould be a shoe in for city.Has been brilliant recently nobody would argue with that.

Have you been watching city lately?

I'd go for this -

............. Hart ...........

Richards...VK...JL...Clichy

...... De Jong ... Barry ...

Milner .... Yaya .... Silva ...

............ Aguero ........

Yaya further forward will scare United. His direct running at their centre backs will cause all sorts of problems.

Think back..

Balotelli is watching a replay of Rooneys overhead volley on a tv screen.. the rag fans are baiting him.. "See that Balotelli..!"

He wont have forgotten about that, he must start on Sunday.

Balotelli is our in form striker and is more likely to hold up the ball and link play than either Dzejo and Aguero. For me, the line up should be;

JH
MR VK JL GC
NdJ
JM GB
YT DS
MB
Yaya has been a bit of a liability when asked to play the holding midfield role this season so should be pushed further forward. Silva, obviously, plays where he wants. Milner drives forward from midfield, Gaz will get alonside Hige when defending and support the play when attacking and either full back gets forward when they can.

Hart
Richards-kompany-lescott-clichy
Yaya-Barry
Milner-silva-balo
Aguero

Dzeko hasn't done enough since spurs, de jong REALLY seemed to struggle last night and AJ is best as an impact sub.

The stakes have rarely been higher in the Manchester derby, with top spot in the Premier League up for grabs. These Opta trends indicate that a late decider is likely...

Manchester United have won five and lost none of the last six Premier League games against their city rivals.

Manchester United have already beaten Manchester City once this season, 3-2 in the Community Shield.

There have been five 90th minute or later goals scored in the last eight matches in all competitions between the rivals, three of them to win the match for Manchester United.

Michael Owen has scored seven goals in eight Premier League games against Manchester City.

Manchester City have fired in more shots on target (65) than any other side in the Premier League.

Manchester United have scored with a higher percentage of their shots than any other team in the Premier League (24%), while Manchester City are ranked second scoring with 20%.

Manchester City have picked up just eight yellow cards and no reds so far this season, fewer cards than any other team in the top flight.

Samir Nasri leads the Premier League with six goal assists.

Manchester United have won their last 19 Premier League home matches in a row.

None of the eight previous teams to have netted more than 20 goals after eight games in a Premier League campaign have gone on to win the title - both these sides have exceeded the 20-goal mark.

To me the team is quite clear except for one spot. Dzeko is off form, Balotelli and Aguero are in form. Both Nasri and AJ give the ball away too much and are better used against poor teams at home to build up the goal difference! Leaving Barry or DeJong out at the Swamp will be suicide, whilst Yaya seems to always pla, must be in his contract!

To me, if everyone is fit 10 of the players are nailed on. My only debate is whether Milner or Balotelli.

Hart
Micah Komps Jolene Clichy
DeJong Barry
Silva Yaya Milner/Mario
Aguero

Simples.

Nigel de Jong and Fani both confident of Manchester derby win B*ll*x
Nani says United are confident but De Jong believes City can win Nigel de Jong says Manchester City are determined to win Sunday's derby and stay top of the Premier League.
But they face a Manchester United side who are also "confident" due to their home form, according to winger Nani.
United have won 24 of their last 25 Premier League games at Old Trafford but City go into the derby two points clear at the top of the table.
"We're going down there as number one and the aim is to stay number one," City midfielder De Jong said.
The Dutchman said the match is a "massive game for both of us".
He added: "Of course everyone believes we can win.
"The pressure is always there because of how this Manchester City team are growing.
"We have shown our quality throughout the season. We don't need a game against United to show how good we are.
"It is two of the best teams in England going up against each other and I expect it to be a great game."
De Jong, 26, insists City's players are hungry for success.
He said: "You can't build a history of winning trophies over 25 years like United have done in just one year.
"This side can be part of history because it has been so long [1968] since we won the title."
Winger Nani, 24, who scored twice in United's 3-2 Community Shield win over City, praised his team's Manchester rivals but stressed his side's confidence.
He said: "City have a fantastic team at the moment with fantastic players.
"They are playing a lot of good stuff and it will be difficult to play against them.
"But we should not forget we are United. When we play at home it is very hard to beat us - that is why we are so confident.
"These are the games that always get the team motivated.
"When we play these games the team has a different attitude and a different hunger.
"Everyone likes to play in matches like this one and, clearly, we hope to win as well."
Nani believes it is too early to say if the title race will be dominated by the two Manchester clubs.
He said: "City are one of the teams who have been doing fantastically well since the season started.
"But there are a lot of teams who are doing well and we need to be aware of them.
"Chelsea have been excellent for a start."
